Inspired by the latest OSW video (which has apparently been removed in the time it took me to watch it...) in which Mr. OOC counts down the moments he's sick of seeing played over and over again either by WWE or by other youtubers/podcasters, I thought I'd see what everyone here never wants to see or hear about ever again due to overexposure, becoming overused memes, or because you're sick of wrestling companies constantly trying to recreate them.
Just a short list from off the top of my head...
1. Foley thrown off the cell.
I would like to just put the entire Attitude Era all together here, but that's not what this list is for, so since this moment is pretty much the definitive moment of that era, I'll just go with that. It was amazing and game-changing back then, but knowing what kind of shape Foley is in today because of taking stupidly dangerous and highly damaging bumps like that makes it so much harder to watch. And that's not getting into all the idiots he inspired to take similar bumps over the next twenty years in the hopes of becoming as famous as he is...
2. Austin passing out to the Sharpshooter.
Arguably, the moment that legitimized Stone Cold even more than the Austin 3:16 promo, seeing him screaming in pain with blood running from his head and into his mouth is an unforgettable moment, but it also is the reason why more than twenty years later we still have babyfaces who would rather pass out than tap out because it supposedly makes them more badass when, in reality, it just makes them look stupid.
3. HBK's almost elimination from the 95 Rumble.
Another example of something that was cool once, but wrestling companies just can't stop going back to. How many times have we had to see a battle royal where it looks like someone has won, but then someone else who has been hiding on the outside sneaks back in to eliminate them? It's happened at least twice just this year: MJF in AEW at the beginning of the year, and Miz earlier this week at Survivor Series.
4. The DX Tank.
It was a jeep, and nobody would even remember it if WWE wouldn't keep bringing it up.
5. The Fingerpoke of Doom
I don't care if it helped kill the company or not, it's been analyzed and theorized to death by every wrestling fan ever[/hyperbole]. I'll throw in a quick ditto for The Montreal Screwjob for the same reason.
Honorable Mention: WWE fan reactions. Angry Miz Girl, Shocked Undertaker Fan, etc. Funny once or twice, successively less funny with each consecutive use.

That dude reacting to Taker losing at Mania.
He’s basically responsible for production being ruined.

The WMX Ladder Match. Classic, yes, but it was on EVERY OTHER DVD. The Shawn/Mankind match became this too, as did Savage/Steamboat.

Anything with Foley or HHH. Calling one a "glorified stuntman" is an insult to glorified stuntmen and the other was a 1990s jobber as entertaining as Frankie Lancaster who leeched off of anyone he possibly could to get over in WWF. If there's anyone who is out of place in 1990s WWF when everyone was over, it's these two guys.

Montréal- the worst thing about it is the constant call backs and recreations that seem to happen since 1997.

For the modern times, any mention of the 30th anniversary of the Deadman. I don't care. Just retire him so we can move on.

Foley being thrown off the Cell and ANYTHING having to do with the Montreal Screwjob. That dude reacting to Taker losing at Mania. He’s basically responsible for production being ruined. Yeah, it was hilarious at the time, but it seems like ever since that moment they've been way too obsessed with finding iconic fan reactions.

Debates over Heenan's "BUT WHOSE SIDE IS HE ON?!" call. From both sides. But I will say that the "But that's exactly what Heenan would have thought!" crowd is missing the forest for the trees--there was a better call for Heenan to make without compromising his character *or* the surprise.
Michaels, Jannetty, and the Barber Shop. It was a great angle with a great call, but there were other great angles in this time period and innumerate great calls by Monsoon and Heenan that don't get near this much attention.
I really don't mean to keep picking on Bobby, it's just working out that way, but...I don't really need to see a mention of Jack Tunney being "on the take" and the "best President since Noriega" every single, solitary time he's ever brought up.
Likewise, having an objective discussion of El Dandy is impossible now because of people's pathological need to ask who we are to doubt him. Sorry that you're missing out on one of the 10 or 15 greatest, most versatile workers of all-time because of a lack of photogenics and a funny 30-second Bret interview, though.
The Iron Sheik. Good worker at his peak and a classic personality before it became worked to death, but he was a bad worker for longer. Even before he became a living meme (all of which I try to actively avoid after being amused by it for about a month like 15 years ago), his place in wrestling history seemed to be given more due than he really deserved. The old A&E Unreal Story of Professional Wrestling would have you believe he was the biggest heel of his era and he...wasn't.

The old A&E Unreal Story of Professional Wrestling would have you believe he was the biggest heel of his era and he...wasn't. He started the whole F Brian Blair in the butt and at that point fans started remembering him but after that it was all the Megan boys from Canada who post his so-called twitter posts that gain attention. Sheik is almost illiterate of the English language so he could not possibly write online and he did mention so on some video. The Megan boys, and I may be spelling that wrong, are two brothers who somehow convinced the Sheik to befriend them and they are behind this attempt to re surge the Sheik's career. Eric Simms, an autograph convention agent out of New Jersey worked with the Sheik for almost two decades but unfortunately gets no credit in helping Sheik's resurgence.

Screw job. It’s in the past and everyone moved on. Very few people know what really went down so we don’t need every youtuber, shoot interview or wrestling doc retelling the story. in addition I can’t stand to watch Bret huck a loogie at Vince’s face. It makes me nauseous lol

Honestly, I remembered it because it was a funny series of segments that I enjoyed, but certainly it was not a tide turner. I remember it. Was surprised when I saw a few people here say no one remembered it. Hell I never heard many people complain about it until the past 5 years.
