WarnerMedia really did not think any of this through, did they?

I mean, as a consumer I'm conceptually in favor of them doing this but it really seems like they're massive idiots for just thinking, "Yeah, let's just spring this on everyone, surely there will be no objections anywhere!"
Then again massive idiocy is hardly new for HBO Max.

Then again massive idiocy is hardly new for HBO Max. I mean even as an executive putting stuff out on Streaming is likely the smarter move instead of waiting for things to go back to normal... which likely isn't happening for a while. and you get money coming in (hey and subscribers to your new service that hasn't been doing so hot.) But... just making this huge sweeping decision while contacting NONE of your subsidiaries... or talent... or any of the other people this would affect is just f***ing stupid... which has been AT&T's strategy since taking over... so it totally tracks.

Slightly obvious because of the deals signed in the UK and in Europe but as of right now, all of WB’s movie slate for 2021, as well as Wonder Woman, will be cinema first rather than on a streaming service as well.
So unless Legendary get heated, no Godzilla vs. King Kong on Netflix.
