That's no surprise since it is established the women are a draw but it should be noted and given proper attention
They have also main evented the last two weeks with Raquel getting a big time push. It isn't just Io and Rhea main eventing as the "draw". Shotzi, Raquel, and Moon the last two weeks have been given time to shine and the women as a whole is given the confidence to show what they can do as opposed to relying on one or two women for the spot

My girl can absolutely hang with the top dogs and the match with Rhea certainly wasn’t only because of Rhea.
There’s a little ironing out to be done with the early selling and a true character, but if she can continue to grow like she has the past few years? Sky is the limit. Her offense is deadly!
Also; this entire division rocks. Even Toni who I like to badmouth. I like to believe the hype around her is based on something and she’ll show it at some point.

As I said Toni no doubt has star vibes, she has just been average The heel turn looks to have been the best thing for her, as people thought as she looks comfortable and her reaction to Rhea music hitting was great

When you make them the priority they will shine and damn do they.
And I also said it putting Indi with the Garganos is such a great move...it allows her stay on screen and learn from them as she integrates herself as more of an NXT regular even though she can't really fit into the stacked as f*** division right now.
Hopefully we will be seeing more women debut and not just thrust into the division because we got Indi with the Garganos , Xia and Karen Q's devil triad and Scarlett with Kross so even outside the division the women are gettin their play as well.

Can't say they don't deserve it when they're the best part of the show (which is really saying something since NXT has a lot of good stuff going for it). Indi's probably my least favorite woman they have and even she's in a good spot right now.

Yea, that's a good point. Indi is getting a personality being in combo with the Garganos while not getting lost in the stacked womens division Same with Xia doing some really good acting in her Devil triad and supposedly Karen Q coming from that. Damn near all the women got something going on

Also, the NXT women are just presented as being good and exciting wrestlers like the men are as normal. They get attention, but with the least amount of specialized branding (revolutions, divas, etc). I like how uncomplicated that is.

Honestly I were running NXT I'd probably retire the Cruiserweight title and add a women's midcard one in its place. Be much more interesting and they have the roster for it.

A Women's TV Championship taking the place of the Cruiserweight Championship, which is then made exclusive to 205 Live? Yes, please.

The NXT Womens title is just as important as the mens title Which hopefully can grow to be the standard across US wrestling period, where the women’s scene is prominent enough that more belts (like the Raw Women’s at its peak) feel like world heavyweight championships.

Send the CW to the shambling corpse of 205Live, and the Fantasma boys can live in the NA midcard for awhile.

It is something that goes kind of unnoticed with her but see everytime she defends it successfully how she holds it up in such a way that she is not only being proud of it but as if she is basking in it's attention.

And the fact the whole division revolves around the title. Storm is mad at Ember for upstaging her because she wanted a big splash for the title. Io said well War Games is over and my title is all that matters again putting the focus squarely on her back

I agree with the NXT Women's Division feeling significantly more important and interesting than the men's division.
Saw something interesting posted on reddit, but it's something I actually agree with. Someone compared Io Shirai to Jon Moxley in terms of attitude and charisma. She's the centerpiece of the division, and anyone involved with her gets massively elevated. She's probably the best champion since Asuka or even Sasha and/or Bayley.

She is the best NXT Women's champion behind Asuka That already puts her on the best list in general behind Cole (NXT title), Lee (NA title), Asuka (Womens)

I have said this (not the moxley comparison) but this is why you put Io Shirai if you have her on your roster squarely at the f***ing top of any division , because she is the most complete womens wrestler of this generation...she can work any style , she can work with anyone and every single person that goes into a match with her always comes out better. She is doing for the NXT womens title what she did for both the white and red belts in Stardom...and her reigns with those titles are legendary amongst Stardom fans.

Yup. It's why I'm utterly baffled why people are clamoring for her to lose the title already. I mean she still has quite a bit of gas left in the tank in this reign, and I don't think Raquel or Toni could fill the shoes left behind at this time.

Imo she doesn't need a long reign She can easily lose the title and work her way back to it in 3 months if they had choose to do so. I'd rather sell her a little short then watch her get long in the tooth like Shayna and Asuka did However, unlike Shayna and Asuka she has shown some vulnerability which has helped her big time
