He's gotten really good since they teamed him back with Alexander He came in with hype and didn't really impress early on but once he got comfortable in Impact, he started to take off. If I was him, i'd consider staying in Impact another year if they are going to give me a main event run He is going to get lost in the shuffle in AEW A lot of it could depend on how soon the Inner Circle breaks up, since with them, Omega, Team Taz, Kingston's stable, etc., the heel side is really stacked. Which is why I think he needs another year in Impact Cage came in with his value at its highest (barring time off for injury) but he's just another guy when he ideally should be someone you look at as a main event level talent and I say that as someone who doesn't care for Cage Ethan has that young talent level like MJF but MJF is a better talker/character while Ethan is a better worker. The gap isn't wide but MJF has the benefit of being on AEW TV for a year. If Impact is willing to give you a little more responsibility and the money isn't that far off, i'd stay at Impact. He has yet to hit his stride as a singles and could do so there with a decent run which will really up his value

AEW's going to pay better and give him actual national exposure. I think he's at the point where he needs to bet on himself. Cody is a big fan of his, too.

He's 31, he is still young, way young in wrestling years, He won't be 32 until almost the end of next year Cody being a big fan of you doesn't equal success and national exposure is only as good if they are banking on you. If he signs to AEW, he has to look at it 2 years ahead because they not going give him that push out the door imo. If he is willing to wait, bid his time and be 3rd banana in Taz group behind Taz and Cage then jump on board. Otherwise, I don't see the pay being so much better that you have to say no to it If they going to pay him $250k to appear on Dark then go take it cause I believe Impact only pays the main event talent 100K. Now, if it is 150k to appear on Dark and 100k to main event Impact, i'll gamble and take the 100k and comeback next year for a bigger offer

I think he's AEW bound His value is at the highest in his career, I don't blame him for making the leap especially when people in your ear telling you things you want to hear. He's going most likely go from $75k to $200k or so. That's a step up, get that money

I think people forget how hot Page was on the indies before going to Impact. Now granted he and Alexander had an amazing run as the North but before that he was seen as a top free agent and break our stat.... and thats before he got into great shape. There are still rumors he may resign with Impact and get role of booker as well (which honestly from what I've gathered some of Impact's best received content has been his idea) but if he went to AEW he would be a good get I think because of his creativity, his online presence, and his friendships in AEW, it makes perfect sense for him to sign there. He probably reached his limit in Impact. And I can't see anyone who is creative and has a strong online thing wanting to go to WWE.

They've been jobbing him out and him doing his good byes on his blog are done for a reason. Yes legally he can't sign anywhere else yet. So he's leaving door open publicly for Impact return. But if you read between the lines. He told Impact he's not resigning. While he either has big money deal with WWE. That is gonna make him willing to give up certain things. Or he's going to sign with AEW.

But of course that was before AEW was around. I think he's likely headed to AEW. But I wouldn't rule out Triple H coming to him with a lot of money to join NXT. Just like he did with Karron Kross. Given his size and look fits what WWE would look for as well.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong despite saying all that I think he's gone or at the very least considering all his options We knew were the last few people who left Impact were going so I wouldn't be surprised if news broke on him sooner then later. He's going to get a pay bump regardless wherever he goes. Just depends on fit. AEW he most likely gets on TV sooner and joins up with Taz or someone. In NXT, he probably won't be on TV for 3-4 months but could get a push once he debuts
