So I've heard rumors he may be interested in AEW and they may be interested in him. A Cody eyes on one of his twitter posts, a lot of his friends in AEW, including his trainer Taz. His contract being up with Impact in a few weeks.
I liked the North, but I don't know enough about him to have a huge opinion. Would he be a solid addition to AEW?

The North as a whole would be a huge addition to AEW. I don't know when Josh Alexander;s contract is up, but they're both really great together, and I'd hate to see them split up. FTR has been teasing a confrontation with The North and frankly I'd like to see something like that happen so it delays the inevitable Young Bucks rematch a bit more.
Page is a good worker and he's shown quite a lot of personality too in his time at Impact. Whether AEW could actually get The North or just Page and insert him somewhere remains to be seen, but it's worth noting his contract isn't the only one expiring going into 2021, quite a few are including RUSH and Dragon Lee's which was brought up a bit ago.
AEW and other companies might be doing some scouting in the New Year, and with AEW opening up these partnerships, that might also help certain wrestlers still appear in other companies if they do in fact sign. We shall see.

I guess given the current environment, whether or not his contract is up may be irrelevant. It also would explain some things if Omega had someone from Impact handle things for him, jumping Moxley, either by his choice or Callis arranged for it.
That would potentially work....

I still really want who jumped Moxley to be Callahan tbh, there's so much good history to work with there.

The one thing I can say about Ethan Page is, he is very unlikely to end up in WWE. He is very active on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Patreon, and his own merch store, and I don't see him giving all those revenue streams up to go to the Performance Center.

With The North, Page’s contract is up soon, but Alexander has one more year on his Impact deal, I believe.
But forget all that, AEW should concentrate all their resources on signing The Karate Man.

I expect Page to sign with AEW. But with whole full the roster is. It's hard to see him doing too much. If he wants to get on Dynamite. He probably needs to form a new tag team or join a group. Other wise he will be spending a lot of time on Dark.

The guy is money. Great worker and can be downright scathing on the mic. There’s a reason Cody has wanted him since the beginning of AEW, but Page was loyal to Impact while also running his own indie in Canada (which he was able to get featured on Impact’s app for additional revenue).
Page has also taken the one complaint people had, his physique, and transform his body to peak condition. He has all the tools, and they can strap a rocket to him if they wanted to upon arrival.

As a singles or a tag? Do you think he works better with Taz, Inner Circle, or someone else? I hope he still does his indie. Joey Janella and Thunder Rosa still run theirs, and I love that.

I would hand the man the TNT title and let him run with it. Impact has shown him as a great tag wrestler in The North, but he doesn't need a partner or faction. Page has made a living being a detestable asshole singles champion on the indies, and he would thrive in that role in AEW. Best comparison I can make is MJF with weaker promo ability (not bad, but MJF is in another stratosphere) but a better worker with a bigger, more intimidating look.

The rumor mill right now is saying that Ethan Page isn’t going to re-sign for Impact on January 1st.

Honestly I don't have much interest in seeing him in AEW. I like him in a tag team but not as a solo guy. Josh Alexander is the better of the two imo

Comin' out Ethan Page, and I'm doing just fine!
Seriously though, dude doesn't get enough credit for how much groundwork he did to turn the tide of public opinion on Impact and really bring it into the new generation. Fantastic performer in any way a professional wrestler can be measured. Any promotion would be lucky to have him.

He legit is my favorite performer in impact. I honestly believe the guy is a future world champion where ever he goes, there was rumors he might get a Marty deal with impact where he’s given a ton of money and the book. Him and Cody are good friends, randomly messages him to tell him how much Drew Gulak sucks. From the one time they all worked an Indy together and Cody got pizza for everyone, and Drew through a fit. His blog is wonderful. 5:50 in. “Go f***ing take Danhausen out for ice cream, asshole.” Might be one of favorite lines of the whole year. youtu.be/pIrXJZ0OIXwNow after they sign All Ego All Elite Ethan Page they need to sign Mance Warner and my AEW dream signings bingo card will be complete

I think people forget how hot Page was on the indies before going to Impact. Now granted he and Alexander had an amazing run as the North but before that he was seen as a top free agent and break our stat.... and thats before he got into great shape.
There are still rumors he may resign with Impact and get role of booker as well (which honestly from what I've gathered some of Impact's best received content has been his idea) but if he went to AEW he would be a good get

He's gotten really good since they teamed him back with Alexander
He came in with hype and didn't really impress early on but once he got comfortable in Impact, he started to take off. If I was him, i'd consider staying in Impact another year if they are going to give me a main event run
He is going to get lost in the shuffle in AEW

Ethan Page is one of the most charismatic wrestlers on the indies and he could easily be one of AEW's top heels within a year. He also worked super f***ing hard to get himself in great shape. He's like a better built Ricky Starks.
