Where either
A. A heel is fined a significant amount of money following some heinous act & in their next promo they say "That was a lot of money, I can't afford it, so I'm not gonna do bad things anymore."?
Or
B. A time where a babyface is teasing a heel turn & he has the in ring meeting with another babyface & the babyface convinces him to stay good?

I'm pretty sure B has happened numerous times, but Im drawing a blank on specifics.

I think the Shield did B. But Ambrose and Reigns were arguing a lot and Rollins was the one who set them straight.

B with Rollins and Ambrose in 2017. Ambrose was still raw about Seth betraying him and they kept teasing he'd go heel when Rollins wanted forgiveness. They met and Seth basically begged him forgiveness and offered to take a beating for it. They kept teasing and brawled a bit before Sheamus and Cesaro ran in, then they teamed up.

B is kind of what happened with Shawn Michaels and Jeff Hardy...although the convincing was via Shawn kicking Jeff in the face as Jeff was trying to attack him so on second thought maybe not.

A is the more interesting of the two for me as has been said B has happened.
I really can’t recall A happening though. Would’ve been perfect for a Heath Slater face turn.
“I can’t afford these fines anymore. I got kids!”

On the subject of B, not totally what you're looking for but when Owen vs Bulldog was happening, both were heels but naturally it seemed one of them was gonna turn face, probably Bulldog. Till Bret came out and got all 3 to reunite, as heels, yes. So kinda reverse of what you're looking for

Especially how the crowd thought they were getting a Davey Boy face turn. Then not only did Bret stop the fighing, which they hated, not only did he turn it into a talking segment, which they hated, they ended up forming the New Hart Foundation, which they really hated. Just a fantastic bit. I loved every second of it.

They were kinda setting up for a breakup between them... (Dean even tried eliminating Roman at the royal rumble) Seth basically yelled at them to get their shit together and talk it over as as he left them during a 3 man tag.

An example of A is when Jimmy Havoc kept using a staple gun and Tony Khan said he’d be fined every time he used it. I don’t believe he used it again.

Maybe not exactly matching B, but Luger and Sting had that dynamic in early 1996. Luger was a tweener who hated Hogan and Savage, but wanted to remain friends with Sting. They teased Sting turning heel or Luger betraying Sting. What eventually happened is that Luger slowly improved his behavior and decided to be good. And it wasn’t a ruse - he stayed good for the next two and a half years. Even after he and Sting had a falling out.

Yeah and it continued when the NWO first came around and the whole is Sting WCW or NWO and Luger started to question which side he was on.
