Put some respect on Taichi name this year, he def stepped it up. He's been underrated in terms of when he wants to go he can but this year he just put it all together. Character and in ring work has blended together to make him someone you interested in when you see his name on the card. That only kicks battle with Ibushi at the G1 is still crazy

I have a few I'll throw out once I get home, but good shout on Taichi. Might be the first non-Naito NJPW merch I buy lol

I admit I struggle with the concept, because I think it could mean different things to different people. Some people think underpushed. Some people think underpraised or underappreciated. Anyway, here are some random names that came to mind: Rey Escorpion Mistico (current, not Caristico/original Sin Cara) Konami Arisa Nakajima Syuri Oney Lorcan Yoshiko Takumi Iroha TJ Perkins Kalisto Gran Metalik Roderick Strong Sheamus

No mentions of AEW yet so I'm just gonna throw The Hybrid 2 out there. Those boys are real good and I'm glad they're finally getting some shine. John Silver as well, not only is his character growing to near un-ignorable levels with fans but his in ring work is fantastic. 2021 might be a championship year for him, not counting the BTE Title, of course

I think El Desperado really showed his worth this year. Every time he was given a shot he delivered. He needs to be in the Jr title picture next year, really can't ignore him anymore especially after how good he was in the BOSJ finals.

I'm not gonna say they were the best ring technicians on the rise this year, but special shoutout also to Johnny Swinger and Trevor Murdoch for both basically having successful career resurgances out of complete nowhere. Murdoch even ended up winning the NWA National Championship.
Those are just some feel-good types of moments you like to see, especially when it comes to this year.
