Man would this slap. 2 ultimate baby faces who always overcome the odds and no matter what you put in front of them they always get the win.

Drew and Super Cena can't be compared in my opinion. Drew can and has taken a loss without shenanigans.
That Cena was arguably the worst character in WWE history. It was unbearable watching him at times. By far the worst period in wrestling for me.

Drew would get my full support and I hope he'd beat his ass if it came to that. I don't care what anyone says, Drew is dope and he's the definition of a dope wrestling lead.

they'd recreate the bret/shawn hour long iron man match with a time limit draw but without monsoon coming out and telling them there must be a winner after time ran out.

Hell yeah. I’m expecting it to be what Roman/Cena should have been. Let’s figure out time travel and get cracking on this, gang.

In 2008 he got beat basically clean by JBL, and clean by Batista.

Khali, I think that was on SNME so far enough on that one. My point still stands though. Cena lost maybe 1 in every 300 matches "clean". Drew has already lost clean to Orton and Reigns.

Cena also lost to Triple H clean at NOC 2008, so that’s another for the Cena L column. And you really can’t put Roman on the list because that wasn’t clean whatsoever unless you’re talking about when Drew was a heel which opens this up so much more. 1 in 300 is such an exaggeration I can’t even really acknowledge it

The problem wasn't so much that Cena didn't lose often (top guys shouldn't be losing all the time), but what happened after. He'd come out laughing & joking the next night, totally no-selling it. If he won, Super Cena strikes again. If he lost, eh no biggie. He took the stakes out of everything.

Cena never came off to me like someone who was indifferent to the situation or that he didn’t love wrestling or that certain heels didn’t piss him off, more so that he was just generally an optimist and believed he could overcome any setbacks he was dealing with. I never needed him to go through a big emotional crisis or grand character metamorphosis, especially since his enthusiasm was so infectious and he was so masterful at hyping up his supporters in the crowd.

Whilst you may have personally liked it, I still think it was poor storytelling. If a character can brush off any setback, then why bother getting invested in any situation of peril? Why buy a PPV to see the outcome of a match if the result doesn't change a damn thing? Cena kept the same character waaaaaaay too long too. He was stale as year-old bread by the end, & the sacrificing of young talent & other stars to Cena (not to mention annoying a large portion of the audience) has arguably left them in the dire state they are now.
