Different people want different things? I definitely want more focus for the women's division, 100%, but I don't really care about interpromotional stuff, I don't bother with Dark, a lot of weeks I don't actually bother with Dynamite so I'm most certainly not going to actually watch a second show with any kind of regularity, and I think the idea of six man tag titles is stupid.

Did I miss something? Is there another show coming or is this something to do with WWE?

Dark's sole purpose at the moment is to get those independent contractors paid. Look at the lineup for today's episode:
That is EIGHTEEN otherwise out-of-work wrestlers getting the opportunity to stay afloat in the business for a little bit longer. Make Dark a 6 hour show for all I care, if it means these folks get more exposure as a result than more power to them I say.

And quite a few of the signed wrestlers on the card were signed after impressing on Dark, Five and Ten, Cruz/Serpentico and The Acclaimed and so on. I still think it'd be better as two shows, but it's great it exists.

Hey now...don't forget the amount of AEW Twitch streams including multiple crossover streams like Phasmophobia, Golf With Your Friends, and the Sunday sessions of Among Us!

I was never one of the "too much content," people. I loved when WWE was doing multiple special shows a month sometimes on the Network. The problem was, WWE was the one doing all the content.
That's not to say its a "boo WWE" thing, it's more of a "WWE gets it right like 2% of the time, so its hard to sit through 98% garbage when its ten hours long".
AEW is doing this weird thing where stuff gets booked coherently, storylines aren't just forgotten, they're brought up or mentioned later when you least expect it, and even the squash matches on Dark are fun to watch and move along the stories. Dark has been utilized better than WWE EVER utilized Main Event or Superstars or whatever other D show they had.
Give me MORE AEW content. I love wrestling, I WANT to watch it, its just a chore to watch sometimes when the shit on the screen sucks.

I have zero memory of this large contingent of people saying AEW has too much content

I'll find time to watch it. FEED ME MORE!!!

Trying so hard to be consistent about wrestling opinions that you're applying critiques about an entirely different company to another one is weird. Like, it's all opinions, and they're all insanely context sensitive opinions.

I'm at the point in my life where two hours of wrestling a week is perfectly fine with me.
That said I'm all for other shows using other talent, provided that anything major that happens in them is at least recapped or woven into Dynamite.

Couldn't care less on the cross-promotional stuff. Not amazingly bothered about the women's division either. (Like, they could have the best women's division in the world or not have any, as long as the wrestling is good I don't give a shit).
I like the long Darks, and quite often split it up myself, so I'll probably watch half tonight and half tomorrow. Makes the wait for Dynamite on Saturday a bit more bearable.

Yeah there’s no way I can really add more content to my watch list for wrestling so I’m dreading AEW adding a second show if it’s going to be “important” to the storylines (ala Smackdown 1999). Right now I’m able to keep up with the 2 hours of Dynamite each week. Can’t watch Dark or the Impact stuff so hopefully all cross promotional stuff is kept track of on Dynamite as well.

This is kinda where I'm at. Dynamite is all I really watch anymore and it fills my wrestling needs for the week. Potentially having to watch another show isn't all that exciting.

It's more "there's too much BAD WWE content". If the product is good people will want more of it.

It's more "there's too much BAD WWE content". If the product is good people will want more of it. Don’t think that’s the issue. I enjoy WWE’s shows a lot but I certainly don’t want any more product and would love if they cut an hour from Raw. It becomes too much new content to take in on a consistent basis.

Not that everyone’s not allowed to their own opinions, but the idea of “too much” content for something you enjoy doesn’t make sense to me. Football fans have football on their TV if there’s a game on, regardless. There’s an MLB Network for people to watch baseball constantly. If you ENJOY the product you’re getting, how is there too much?
I’ve never felt like a football fan in that regard. There’s never been a time in my life where I could put on a wrestling show that’s NOT the flagship show of an organization, and enjoy the show front to back. And after thirty+ years of being conditioned that only “this show” matters and the rest are crap, it’s absolutely WONDERFUL to be able to put on a B show and it be entertaining.
For real, right now for work, I sit in a surveillance room and watched a closed casino. My boss has constant football games on rotation on the room TV. But me? Knowing on any given day I can pull up Being the Elite, Dark, Dynamite, SmackDown, NXT, Impact, MLW, and then if I’m reaaaally bored, even Raw, and watch some of the sport I love, is absolutely great.

I feel like a 1-hr Dark and 2-hr Dynamite are the perfect length. Yeah, some people won't get used sometimes and that's not a bad thing. Dynamite flows pretty well and the early 1-hr NXTs were the perfect system IMO to develop new characters, stars, and storylines. Kept a lot of people fresh and allowed for longer storytelling because guys/gals weren't interacting in the same matches and segments every week. More hours often times just means more of a strain on the product. I'd rather have 3 very good hours of content a week than more, mostly meh hours and burnout for both those producing it and me watching it.
