For as much as the Kliq has been talked about (Shawn, Diesel, Razor, Kid), they all were in the WWF at the same time for less than 4 years (and the Triple H version of the Kliq was like a year). There is a significant portion of the roster that has been around for 2-4 times that long that haven’t made as close to an impact (though they’re not necessarily to blame for that personally) Diesel had the shortest tenure at 3 years, arriving just prior to KOTR '93 and gone the month before KOTR '96.

Ziggler will eventually hit that late career stride like Show, Henry etc did and get a title shot. He was one of the first dudes to lean on "fan sympathy" about being held down and they don't care anymore cause he held his fate in his own hands multiple times and stayed Yea, DB in WWE for essentially a decade I did not see coming. Same with Miz being one of the longest tenured guys on the active roster behind Orton Miz doesn't surprise me. He's the media-friendly "make the interview rounds" type, and where else was he going to go without having Workrate Cred among the fans? Considering he came into the business when it was still "toxic" and having people like JBL and Holly make your life as miserable as possible, it is a minor miracle he made it out of his first year He wouldn't have been able to prove he was media friendly if he didn't continue to push himself cause he could have easily quit and done something else but his passion got him to stick around

With Miz I think its a case where a lot of guys wanted to be wrestlers while he specifically wanted to be a WWE superstar with all that entailed. He was someone who understood the PR game and knew workrate or not and knew he could excel at that better than others could, making him harder to replace in that role because of it.
