Who are some guys you thought would leave earlier than expected or guys you thought would stay a lot longer?
Cena is def a guy a lot of people thought would stick around forever, I’m sure people thought he would outlast Orton, but boy were they wrong
Dolph is someone I thought would of left like 5 years ago but he’s still here

Zack Ryder had a 14-year unbroken run in WWE. To put this into perspective, The Rock’s entire full-time run in WWE (November 1996 - August 2002) was just under six years.

Ziggle has been around for 16 years and will probably reach 20 at this rate.

Dolph honestly has all the makings of the kind of career midcarder who hangs around forever and is constantly there, I'd say he only feels notable because of how vocal he's been about not needing to stay while also staying every time.
Daniel Bryan having spent an entire, unbroken decade under contract with WWE is the f***ing wildest.

AJ Styles look to be a "WWE lifer" at this point and I did not see that coming
On the flip side, I didn't think Mox would leave. Figured he just ride it out as a pillar of the company making money and just being him but he gambled on himself and won

He was one of the first dudes to lean on "fan sympathy" about being held down and they don't care anymore cause he held his fate in his own hands multiple times and stayed Yea, DB in WWE for essentially a decade I did not see coming. Same with Miz being one of the longest tenured guys on the active roster behind Orton

Konnor of The Ascension was first in WWF developmental in 2001.
To put it in perspective, Konnor joined developmental when Rhea Ripley was 5.

Every time I rewatch all the Royal Rumbles I’m shocked at how long The Great Khali was around. In my memory he was there for like 3 years but it was close to a decade!

It felt like Del Rio was around forever but his first run was 4 years and his second barely lasted 6 months.

I'm shocked Ziggler has only been there 16 years because he feels like he's been around since The Battle of Agincourt...

I keep forgetting that R-Truth technically made his WWE debut in late 2000. Obviously he was in TNA between 2002 and 2008, but it just shows his longevity.

David Otunga has been employed by WWE for 12 years and has basically done nothing except random commentary stints since like... his storyline with John Laurentius

He's the media-friendly "make the interview rounds" type, and where else was he going to go without having Workrate Cred among the fans?

Ziggle has been around for 16 years and will probably reach 20 at this rate. Which is the biggest surprise with all the reports over the last several years, you thought he would leave but ends up signing new deals. Even when he came off as frustrated and whinny over the internet. Natayla being under WWE contract since 2007. So been on the main roster for over 10 years now since she was called up in 2008. From the female side of things, she the longest single tender of them all. You would have to go back to the 70s or 80s to find a female talent around that long. Mickie James over all in ring activity is longer but she left after 5 years in the WWE worked indies and TNA before having a kid and returning to wrestling and the WWE.

For as much as the Kliq has been talked about (Shawn, Diesel, Razor, Kid), they all were in the WWF at the same time for less than 4 years (and the Triple H version of the Kliq was like a year). There is a significant portion of the roster that has been around for 2-4 times that long that haven’t made as close to an impact (though they’re not necessarily to blame for that personally)
