Maybe it's just where AEW is full of big guys, but nothing strikes me as overly special about Archer. It could also be that he's filling the role of "Big monster heel" which has sort of been done to death, and the saving grace was Jake doing the talking for him.

At any rate, I saw something I liked the moment he started working with Kingston. Big nasty tweener redneck who wants to rip Kingston's head off his shoulders is much better motivation than "Me big. Me want title"

That was his first chance to really show what he can do which lead to him having a really good G1 and being rewarded with the U.S. title

I could see it, though I honestly don't think it'd be a bad idea to have Archer be more or less a face. I guess that doesn't preclude him from wrestling PAC, granted, but outside of just always being down for a fight, I doubt Archer wants to take the Lucha Bros for himself or something.

Yeah, like don't go overboard, but there is some realism that he and Jake could bring in, and I don't think it would be offensive to have it be a part of their character. Bucks had their Christian AF jokes on BTE, sort of making fun of themselves, so I think that having a healthy representation wouldn't be a bad thing at all. Why can't Archer and Jake have their faith be a part of why EVERYONE DIES! That's biblical.
