Seriously after working an 11 hour shift on X-Mas eve running the bar by myself my job can eat a bag of f***ing dicks. They f***ing knew bar closer was full of shit when they called in for their shift because they’ve spent the past week trying to get it covered....then spent all day posting Snaps of them doing Christmas crap. Not like I had plans with my kids or wrapping to finish up myself or anything.

One of the other bartenders was closing takeaway with him and said if he thinks his ass was splitting tips he can f*** right off. Salaried managers doing tipped things and keeping the money drives me nuts. I refused to do that as an hourly manager. F*** that. I have a shift supervisor who makes a buck more an hour than me. Basically she can cut people or call people in depending on how busy it is. Another guy, aside from bartending, also does outside sales(we're a brewery/brew pub). He gets a bonus on that. I have no issues splitting tips with them. My boss is very enthusiastic(deservedly so, it's his beer) and is behind the bar a lot, or walking around and talking to customers. Never once have I suspected any foul play from him. Shit, he's even gone and sold beer offsite at like festivals or fairs, and came back and handed us a bunch of cash. Not sure about where you're at, but I'm pretty sure that kinda bullshit is illegal in Pennsylvania. |

Just a lot of sketchy stuff going on that’s making me happy to get out of this store in 6 months. I told one of the bartenders that’s going into MIT next week that there’s no guarantee I show up past today. (But I will of course.) |
