f***ing shocking. It's up there with the most legit shocked I've been from a wrestler's death. So sad. RIP.

Absolutely devastated right now.
I'm happy his career ended on a high note, but the wrestling world and the world in general have lost an amazing, one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable soul.

I don't know how much longer I can keep following this business. That is all. Sadly, this business is no different then any other forms of entertainment You just don't have wrestlers die in the prime of their careers but check how many in the music industry or movies sadly pass away

The only reason I bring it up is because Brodie talked about it a lot, he said it was hard on his career, on a positive note, he did say he got to spend a lot of time with his kids It just makes me think about how nothing is guaranteed, this is 100% nothing cynical or bitter, it's just a retrospect as I process everything. The "unintentional blessing" is he got to spend time with his kids which matters more then his career which is the only thing that matters That's time his kids will cherish forever and one i'm sure if Brodie knew his time was limited, he'd not change for anything It's one of the things I remember him talking about on I think his last Unrestricted, and it's heartbreaking to think about in retrospect Brodie talked so much about his kids... I can't remember the wrestler who said it, but he said once he swore in front of Brodie Jr. in the locker room, he was gonna apologize and Brodie said "Don't worry about it, he's heard it all".

WWE not only tweeted a statement, but they are also retweeting everything their talent has said about Lee. Even a follow up with a story about the outpouring of support/stories/etc.

I wouldn't blame them if Wednesday they just showed clips from his debut and matches. I doubt anyone will want to work that day

I wouldn't blame them if Wednesday they just showed clips from his debut and matches. I doubt anyone will want to work that day It depends... sometimes this motivates wrestlers to WANT to work... King of Trios 2011 was just like a week or so removed from the passing of Sweeney, and it was not only a tribute to him but we saw some incredible matches between the likes of Eddie Kingston and Arik Cannon They're probably gonna see what the talent wants to do. If they don't wanna wrestle, they won't, if they wanna put on a show for the fans and Brodie, you bet they're gonna, in a big way.

He was Strong in life. His spirit shall find its way to the Sacred Halls where Savage, Hennig, Piper and others now reside

This is utterly devastating.
I just hope that his family can find solace in the outpouring of love and respect from an industry that held Brodie Lee in such high esteem.
RIP. Go Leafs Go

I was really hoping someone would post this moment. It's amazing for so many reasons, the biggest being Brodie was so hard to break on camera, and Sue absolutely crushed him with that botched papering.

I'm going to rewatch him winning the TNT title. That was such a moment and you could see the pride in his face.

Also, from everything I've read, AEW and his family are incredibly close and are going to work very closely with them on an appropriate tribute for Brodie. And I'm sure they'll discuss everything with the locker room and get their thoughts. I'm very confident that whatever they do Wednesday, it will be beautiful and what his loved ones wanted.
