Not to sound flippant but I imagine whatever was being edited for BTE is out the door and they’ll either throw together clip show tribute or hold off a week so they can shoot new stuff No doubt it will be part,I doubt it will take over a whole episode but he was such a great figure there and took the Dark Order to new heights,I definitely expect whenever they are able to,the Dark Order will put out a tribute, maybe even on Dynamite too. At very least The Dark Order will live on as Brodies' Legacy. He may be dead but he helped this group rise and be something ,his wrestling career will live on with then. I dont know if BTE will outright stop this week, I think we could all use some laughs, frankly. But a Brodie Tribute or even something by Dark Order is sure to happen on this weeks edition. Also yeah I said it page one, I'll say it again on this page, Dark Order should go face. It was already getting hard to boo them, but this seals it. Hangman should join this group, become the new leader, and turn them around as faces, AEW has the heels to offset them doing so (And you can always make more). I just feel like no one is gonna boo Dark Order anymore, and if and when Hangman wins the world title, he can not only do it for himself, but for Brodie as well.

Didn’t hear about this until after work on a comics news site I go to. It really brings things into perspective about how little inconveniences aren’t worth getting upset about in the big scheme of things. He was a little over a year older than me...that brings a lot of perspective. Too damn young for such a good man to leave us all.

That's the one I was waiting for, and he didn't even need to write much for me to feel devastated.
If anything happens this Wednesday please give Eddie the mic, please let him honor Brodie. I'm sure he won't be the only one, but if anyone, he has to...

Brodie/Harper/Huber was a rare case of a big man who had ability, at one point I truly did think he was on his way to greater glory when booked on the opposing ends of guys like Orton, Cena, and Bray, and even in AEW he would have moments of stop-and-start momentum that baffled me. These health problems make sense of some of that, but it's still heartbreaking. His IC, and TNT title reigns at least immortalise him forever in the annals of wrestling history. We will not soon quickly forget the exhaulted one.

I really can't sleep. This just doesn't feel real. Probably the hardest death in wrestling for me in a long time. Same, and it can only be because it’s someone who was of the here and now, so to speak. As harsh as it sounds, a lot of wrestler deaths are of your distant variety. Men and women who had been retired for years or had gotten old or just drifted out of the consciousness. Brodie Lee was only on AEW TV as a featured star, what, two months ago? Not to mention being a regular of WWE TV for the better part of the 2010s. This man was right in that consciousness. Yeah this should have been his prime. Free of the shackles he could have risen as far as his talent allowed and all indications were that was going to be a high ceiling. I didn't know much about him outside the ring but it looks like he had a lot to look forward too there as well. He was about to get the payoff for all the work he put in and now he's just gone. There's alway a human tradegy but in this case his relative youth and lost potential make it hit harder (I wasn't as familiar with some recent losses). RIP.

When you lay it out on the table, I’d like to think that wherever he is now, Jon Huber would be proud of the wrestling career he had. He was a part of several classic matches across many promotions, was an integral part of two of the most significant stables in modern history, The Wyatt Family in WWE and The Dark Order in AEW (arguably saving the latter by being the main factor that changed the direction of it), won belts in both WWE (including one where he got the winning pin on the main card of a WrestleMania) and AEW, and was just generally such a beloved presence in the locker room.
Was there unfulfilled potential? Definitely. Dude could have EASILY been in a world title match at WrestleMania 33, his storyline was lining up in such a way at just the right time, and he never really got the major singles run there that his talent warranted. And as for AEW, now there’s going to be so many unfinished arcs with The Dark Order that will have to go on without him. I can’t speak for him having any regrets, but his passing has proved that life can still be too short for them nonetheless.

Honestly for having only really been a presence in AEW for seven months he had an absolutely incredible run. Just in the span from March to October there was the Mox match, the Cody matches, all of the Being the Elite stuff, the OC match, quite a few great promos... Feel like this is going to be one of the big what-ifs in wrestling history, just how he's gone at his peak like this.

I think some fans need perspective on things. I know everyone wants to rip on WWE, and that's fine, but they literally have nothing to gain by showing a Best of Luke Harper video, a mini doc on Jon Huber, and also retweeting everyone in the company mourning Brodie. The problem comes when fans start commenting stuff like how dare you try to honor him, or so now you care and shit like that.
WWE is simply trying to honor the guy, its definitely not a situation where "wrestling politics" needs to come into it. The man was a great wrestler, and an even greater family man, and was beloved by the industry. Lets focus on that.

As someone who can be very hard on some of the stuff they've pulled, even this year especially, it makes zero sense to rip on WWE for this in any fashion. Like they would have gotten worse flack if they didn't say anything while all their workers payed tribute and homage to their friend... so in some cases with fans, they just can't win.

Feel like this is going to be one of the big what-ifs in wrestling history, just how he's gone at his peak like this. I could also be wrong on this, but I also think this is the first time a current Kingpin in a faction has passed away during any era of wrestling while the faction is still omnipresent. Dark Order basically become Brodie's legacy, yeah they existed a bit before he officially became THE EXALTED ONE, but everyone remembers the group since Brodie joined, because that's when they truly found themselves. Dark Order's basically a way to carry Brodie's legacy on as long as the group stays a thing. Which as shitty as all of this is and feels, they can do some really nice stuff with that if they wanted to... especially if they now pull the trigger on Hangman joining.

Just woke up to the news in the UK. Absolutely doesn't feel real, I looked at the article & thought they must've put the wrong picture. I guess my brain was trying to look for a way out of it, proper denial.
It's so odd, because ever since the dog collar match, my brother & I kept talking about his return. I was convinced his absence was on purpose, so Dark Order could become a bit more goofy & babyface, only for Lee to return like a house of thunder & scream them back into line. It was going to be amazing - and now it never will be.
Devastating for his wife, family & friends too. Absolutely horrible.

I stumbled upon this video a couple years ago, and it's what made me really get behind the man behind the Luke Harper persona. I can't sleep, and it's weird b/c I wasn't a huge fan of Brodie in Dark Order, but I recognized his ability, and thought for sure he'd be a future AEW champ as their leader. He just had "it". This effected me more than I would have imagined...like seeing the above video, and his podcast stuff, just showed what a genuinely good person he was. A rarity no matter what walk of life you're in. And his poor family... I'm laying here thinking "Okay I can read the outpouring of love now", and then I get to that Bray Wyatt response and that hit hard, it was so raw. You could feel his anger, regret, and sadness. Yeah...I didn't expect it to sit with me like a weight in my chest. At this point I'm cracking open the whiskey. It's so damned surreal. The man was a couple years younger than me...wtf... 2020 can REALLY go f*** off now.

I saw it on twitter and thought that it must have been a mistake and they'd got the wrong Brodie Lee. This is f***ing awful. RIP Big Rig. Been a fan of you for 13 years. I can't even imagine what his family & friends are going through right now.
