2 random thoughts that have popped into my head just now..
1: The fact he died a year younger than Bruiser Brody is both mindboggling and somehow makes this even more tragic
2: Wrestling fans on Twitter are the absolute dirt worst

2: Wrestling fans on Twitter are the absolute dirt worst Thankfully I've managed to avoid the worst of them and most of the people I've seen have been respectful.

It's just stuff like the replies to Stephanie's tweet. Paraphrasing: oh NOW you like him, what about when you didn't push him for years!? It's just like wtf man

My immediate reaction was to read the reactions of his fellow Dark Order and Wyatt Family stablemates. Is there a statement from Rowan somewhere? He's the only one I haven't read anything from. One page back, he put it out earlier this morning.

With how beloved Brodie Lee was. I'm confident that Tony Khan and or other wrestlers will make sure his family is taken of for life. Considering Brodie Lee was such a family man. I'm sure he had large insurance policy too. In order to make sure his family was taken care of. In case something horrible like this happen.

Damn. Visually, always thought he looked cool when I saw him on the WWE, and that viewpoint kept up over the years. Just reading through this thread just cemented the fact that he was great, in-ring and out. Just devastating. May he rest in peace.

Sami Callahan posted this match, saying it was one of his faves with Brodie. I remember this show, a weird location but what a match.

If not for life, at least allow them some way to earn money on the payroll Doubt his wife becomes on screen talent like Vickie and her daughter ended up being but even then as said Brodie most likely had something like life insurance just in case something happened. At least in the interim she will be taken care of and as said it is not outside the realm that AEW does something for her or other wrestlers

It's just like wtf man Some fans have really gotta learn that just because a talent may not get pushed by a promoter on a business level doesn’t mean that the promoter hates the talent on a personal level or actively wish them ill. Especially as Stephanie isn't even booking pushes or anything. And I don't think I've heard even the most jaded ex-WWE people say a single bad word about her on a personal level.
