Been covered a billion times in this thread I’m sure but dumbasses like Disco and Mitchell that are pushing this Covid theory are missing the most logical part of the conspiracy theory and that’s that they are basically saying that a widow who truly loved her husband is willing to lie about the true cause of death to protect/blackmail a wrestling company. These are some carny motherf***ers pushing that theory, Not that I’m comparing the two situations at all but look at how to this day, Martha Hart hasn’t forgiven WWE for what happened to Owen. Like, if there was any indication at all that Jon got Covid from anyone in AEW and they tried to cover that up, you absolutely would not have Amanda anywhere near the company right now, never mind Brodie or any of her kids.

No no, see, Amanda is complicit too, AEW is paying her and the family hush money. Why yes, I am a monstrous piece of shit who's slandering a widow and her children because I don't like the wrestling company her husband worked for! (this is what these ghouls actually believe, minus the self-aware part)

That's a diverse collection of talent considering you're only seeing their hands. Didn't they always used to cast OVW / NXT / WWE farm league guys as extras in WrestleMania entrances? The most infamous one is Punk as one of the tommy gun gangsters during a Cena WM entrance, and even then I think a few of the others alongside him were also OVC guys. And I'm certain most druids who show up at WMs are wrestlers...

Oh no, I was going to say and forgot, that must be the most high profile set before the Sasha, Charlotte and Alexa ones, right? Because outside of Punk and the like, they’re not usually that high profile for ‘Mania entrances as far as I know.

Because outside of Punk and the like, they’re not usually that high profile for ‘Mania entrances as far as I know. I'd have to see a list of every NXT performer to appear in an entrance, but these were both in the pre-Takeover days, when NXT talent wasn't as well-known by the crowds. So they could give anyone a spot and it's just a nice extra payday for a cameo that will never be brought up on TV again. Nowadays, it would be hard to have Gargano and Ciampa kill each other at Takeover, then dress as robot super-soldiers riding mechanical bulls played by Undisputed Era, while Io Shirai and Dakota Kai feed Triple H grapes and Candice LeRae fans him, while Stephanie is carried on a throne by Killian Dain, Damien Priest, Timothy Thatcher and Bronson Reed, while a gun toting Drake Maverick stands guard and... where was I going with this?

Following Amanda Huber’s (Brodie’s wife) journey on IG is heartwarming in the face of such a tragedy. The people of AEW have stepped up above and beyond. The things she has to say about a couple of the behind the scenes ladies that have been her pillars bring tears to my eyes.

I went on Disco's Twitter, and I almost feel he isn't worth the time. Like his tweets maybe get 20 likes. Mitchell at least somewhat mattered, who the hell has any respect for Glenn's opinion? Has he even gotten any work in years? Impact for a minute?
I wanted to call him out, but he's busy explaining why a certain politician he like's phone call wasn't criminal. In the end, he's just hurting himself. Saying a widow ia lying to protect a company is clout chasing to a certain crowd. Konnan too. I'm sure when it comes to appearances, people will remember this.

It's a nice tribute for sure but it's also a massive upgrade. "The Goodnight Express" was such a mouthful.

The more I hear about Jon Huber, the more he reminds me of Earthquake Tenta i.e. a big dude that was universally loved.
Sure, the timing of his death has parallels with Eddie Guerrero or Owen Hart but the heart is in the spirit of John Tenta.

I know he was primarily a Leafs fan, but I saw a BTS picture of Brodie wearing a Devils T-Shirt and it made me both happy and sad to see such a great person who is no longer with us rep my hockey team.

Coming in to this late, but I just wanted to say RIP. Like with the late Shad Gaspard, the unanimous outpouring of love and fond memories of the man just shows how we lost another one of the good ones. Thoughts and strength to his family.
