I am not a big Disney nor Star Wars fan, but I've been watching some of the Mandalorian with my relatives over the holiday season. With Sasha getting a feature role in the second season on that series, could you possibly see her transitioning out of wrestling in a year and into movies and tv, just like the Rock did at the peak of his in-ring career?

Not in a year. She’ll probably start to get some more work based off the Mandalorian but I don’t think she’ll be fully gone by the end of the year.

Like 3-4 more years. She loves wrestling too much.

I think that it will be a bit more difficult for Sasha than the Rock and others solely because there’s already a market in action movies for big charismatic muscular guys that don’t have to be the greatest actors. Not to say that she can’t do it because of course she can, but she will need to find the best projects if she decides to go that route full time. Whereas the Rock, Batista, and Cena can slide a bit more easily into lead action roles.

She'll need to find more work and keep on along that path before it's really viable, but that's opened the door for her and if she wants to pursue it, she can. It'll just take time to build up to the point where leaving is a safe call, or at least as safe as calls can get.

A lot of it depends on how her body holds up. If she gets one or two more concussions, I'd definitely consider transitioning if I was in her position. If she stays healthy, I think she'll at least stay in a part time capacity. House shows going away could go a long way in helping people like her stick around longer than they otherwise would.

She would need to take some acting classes and learn how to talk better. She had like two lines in the episodes she was in and they were very limited. If her body doesn't hold up over the next few years, it'll be a good backup plan, but she's not gonna be The Rock.

She'll be there eventually. Bear in mind that Dwayne will be 49 in May and has been at the Hollywood thing for nearly 20 years. John Cena's 43 and just really getting into working regularly in Hollywood (and may yet find his bargain-basement Matt Damon/Leonardo DiCaprio/Mark Wahlburg vibe - I'm remembering thinking of Dwayne as a cut-rate Will Smith). Barring a serious injury, Sasha's easily got another 5-10 years ahead of her in the ring. That said, the pressure on her to fish or cut bait is higher because women in Hollywood face a higher standard in the beauty and age departments than men do; so her decision either way may well be sooner rather than later.

I said it before when people were talking about Becky, but a woman from wrestling trying to make it in Hollywood is going to have a much harder time just because of how the industry is. The roles are there for big muscle men. The Rock slid right into the roles that Arnie and Stallone had aged out of, and helped open up the door for guys like Cena and Batista. Women just don’t have that type of role as readily available, and roles in general are much more limited. Also, while I love her, Sasha doesn’t have much in the way of acting talent to start with (great charisma and wrestling character work though). I’d still say Becky has the biggest chance of outside success, but more likely TV work. Also, I think by now we should acknowledge that The Rock is a once in a lifetime talent.

Madalorian or not, I see her trajectory being alot more John Morrison then John Cena let alone The freakin' Rock. She's had 1 acting role, and she really brought nothing to the role. Any woman in that armour would've given an equivalent performance. And she doesn't have anywhere near the mainstream recognition to be getting legit offers anytime soon with no resume

If there's a female Rock, it will be Rhea Ripley.

Not in a year. And not in movies. More TV spots similar to Edge.
Alexa will definitely go that route as well and will be a more commercial success.

I love Sasha but I think if you put aside the built-in goodwill we as wrestling fans have for her you'll realize she's not getting the kind of buzz that a Rock or Cena got. When Rock/Cena cameod in Be Cool/Trainwreck you had non-wrestling reviewers saying they stole the show. Rock impressed so much in The Mummy Returns he got his own starring sequel with Scorpion King. Cena impressed so much in Suicide Squad he got his own starring spin-off show on HBO greenlit a year before the movie was even out.
She had a small role with two lines of dialogue that were delivered mediocre/borderline poorly. If you filter out the tweets from the people who were already fans/stans of her hyping her up no one is talking about her character that much. As of now, if she wants to go down the acting road I think it'll be less like Rock and more like Edge or Trish Stratus, some small TV parts and starring in direct to video action flicks.

I think Alexa is more likely to leave for an acting/hosting career.

With all due respect to Sasha Banks, she's not The Rock. I dont think he means reach the same level as The Rock ,lets be honest not even 99% of actors will reach the level of the rock.It is more about the path. Also lets be honest when The Rock first got into hollywood no one took it serious scorpion king was mediocre at best and his perfomance okay,it took a long time for him to get a good role. The Mandalorian is a much better first step
