I accidentally watched the on demand version instead of my dvr recording.
With commercials it was only 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Do they edit these things? Even with commercials taken out, it should 90 minutes.
I wonder what I missed but. Dint want to watch it over again on Hulu’s dvr

They recently added Lord Of The Rings, and I noticed that some scenes had definitely been trimmed.
So yes, I would guess that for whatever reason Hulu does make cuts to the stuff they stream for reasons I don't understand.

This was a while ago, but when I watched a Smackdown episode on Hulu, they had cut out a backstage interview I wanted to rewatch. I don't know about this NXT episode though. Maybe they cut out a few video packages.

Yes, if it's that short with commercials included, it's definitely edited.
The show is not edited on WWE Network. If you live in the U.S. (or anywhere that doesn't have BT Sport), last night's episode will be available at around 10:00 PM ET tonight. The episodes are available only to subscribers for 1 month, then on the Network's free tier.

It has been edited since it went to USA. After a couple of Shotzi's first matches it seemed like months before I saw anything with her again.

NXT usually gets cut to an hour without commercials, so you're probably missing around 20 minutes of actual content. They trim Raw as well, making it 90 minutes without commercials. I think the NBC Universal deal doesn't let them put the full shows elsewhere.

I think the NBC Universal deal doesn't let them put the full shows elsewhere. It doesn't seem to affect SD, though. I think Hulu has always posted SD in full. It may also be a WWE call to shorten NXT on Hulu version to encourage people to get the Network and see the full show since it's only delayed by 1 day on the Network rather than 1 month like Raw and SD.

I'd like to know who makes the choices of what gets cut for the Hulu versions and whether it leans more to WWE or Hulu themselves considering a) it'd be in WWE's vested interest to have important stuff on the Hulu version but b) also on Hulu to get it up in a length that makes sense for their service.
So stuff like Shotzi not showing up for ages despite becoming a prominent part of the show or Retribution being cut from Raw for ages.
