The Brodie Lee Celebration of Life episode of Dynamite was an all around beautiful sentiment. Many people honoring Brodie's memory that night pointed out that as long as we keep him in our thoughts he will never really be gone. With that in mind, I sincerely think that AEW should start a yearly tournament, and continue to honor Brodie's memory.
The tournament would take place over four episodes of Dynamite, spanning a months time. Twelve, or so, competitors enter in total. Its a double elimination tournament, meaning you have to lose twice to be eliminated. Why double elimination style? Because Brodie Lee believed in second chances. The winner of the tournament gets a shot at the TNT title during the following PPV. I would make the tournament a set month of the year, so every December (for example), we see a graphic pop up on our screens that reads "Its December, and you know what that means, the Brodie Lee Memorial Tournament!"
Of course, John Silver has to be the first winner, and go on to win the TNT championship.

I was honestly wondering if they made the Trios Title, if they did a Trios Tourney for them named in his honor, kinda like the Dusty Classic Tag Tourney.

In saying this, 100% utmost respect to Brodie, his family and AEW.
I'm all about something done like that in honor of Brodie. I have to say that there's a piece of me that feels like giving Jr the TNT title may be a big enough gesture, as well as having had the tribute show. I think something cool would be changing the Buy-In Battle Royale's before the PPV's to the Brodie Lee Buy-In Battle Royale. I just don't want AEW and company to ever have to risk getting blowback or unjust criticism for "cashing in" on a tragedy. I know that literally NOTHING they do would be done for financial gain but you guys know how ruthless the internet is, and how on edge society has been for the past few years.

This is not a bad idea, I had not thought of that. In saying this, 100% utmost respect to Brodie, his family and AEW. I'm all about something done like that in honor of Brodie. I know that literally NOTHING they do would be done for financial gain but you guys know how ruthless the internet is, and how on edge society has been for the past few years. I forgot to mention in my original post, that all the proceeds from the Brodie Lee Memorial Tournament merchandise would go to the Huber family, just like there doing now with the "Exalted in Heaven" shirt. So it would be far from "cashing in", and more like a yearly charity event for his family, and maybe the American Lung Association, too. I'm not a big fan of renaming the buy-in after Brodie. It feels too similar to the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and WWE hasn't done the best job with that. Also, Brodie had just broken into the main event, so naming the PPV pre-show after him feels like a slight.

If it were done, it should be a one night PPV with the proceeds going to the Huber family. I think it being extended further out comes off like exploiting his name.

I'm all for honoring his memory. If they do this, cool. If they honor him in other ways instead like they already have, that is also cool.
Like, don't get me wrong I loved the dude but they have already done more than enough to honor his memory.
