Just finished watching this one (didn't start until 4AM here) and I honestly think it was one of the strongest in-ring products they've put out, every match was good and there were some genuine bangers chucked in for good measure too. BUT... I'm usually pretty forgiving of the production faux pas they sometimes suffer, but this was one of their worst ones yet, which is a shame considering it felt like they'd turned a corner on that front recently. I was at the show live, but I hear they missed Eli Everfly's stairs dive, and I'm sure Moxley and Gage had to been impossible to film decently.

As soon as they went outside they just gave up and turned on the hard cam making jokes “welcome to GCW radio”. They finally got outside as he was jumping and it was just the backs of fans and darkness. If they knew that was going to happen why not plan how to film it? Mox and Gage was kinda bad, mox just completely disappeared towards the end, but it wasn’t awful. If something cooler happened, who knows cause people watching at home didn’t see it.

Tournament Of Survival has been excellent so far.
Well worth the 13 smackaroos if anyone was on the fence about ordering the show.

Brilliant show tonight if you're a Deathmatch fan, Effy vs G-Raver in particular was terrifying!

Yeah, as soon as i saw the druids, I knew one of them was going to be Cardona. Then I saw the Moxley shuffle, and I thought, okay Renee is going to have a funny excuse as to why Mox has been taking longer than expected to get groceries, and then I was right the first time.

I love that this stupid Twitter thing actually had a payoff.

Cardona played it to perfection. We knew it probably was him, but he planted just enough doubt to make it pop.

So I turned it off after the final, but I remember Jimmy Lloyd showing up as a Druid and costing Raver the match against Atticus... When did the Cardona as a druid stuff happen?

Someone compared Cardona in GCW to a modern day Lawler in ECW situation and I love that comparison. Cardona's got a pretty good marketing/creative brain so I'm looking forward to this one.

GCW is starting to get that ECW vibe of anyone could turn up at any time right now, and I don't think that's a bad thing by any stretch. Cardona looked fantastic last night and has pushed the hell out of it all over his Twitter etc since then, a total win-win situation if all sides play their cards right.

It seems like Cardona's taken the criticism of his AEW run to heart because while he's still a similar worker in some ways, I thought his IMPACT run was really solid, he just had a great cinematic hardcore match with EC3 and it feels like this is going to be well received. He's the perfect foil for the GCW fans right now.

I've been trying to think of a better way of putting it, but I can't think of one, so I'll just say it, the only thing Cardona was really missing was some street cred. The guy clearly 'gets' wrestling, he looks a million dollars (especially on the indies around smaller guys) and he's a solid enough worker too but probably more than just about anyone who was released, he was covered in that WWE stink. As you say, I think he's realised that now and getting involved with someone like Nick Gage is a quick way to wash that off and if last night was anything to go by, he's going to lean into that full force.

I watched a few matches from Zombie Walk, the camera work and commentary was much improved. I can watch SGC & Bussy fight forever.
Mance Warner is fighting Nick Gage in a bunkhouse brawl at the Outlaw Mudshow for the championship. Being a huge Mancer mark, I'd love for him to win here. Gage really doesnt need the title, and could kinda be like their mid 90s Undertaker as special attraction fighting guys like Zack Ryder or Moxley.

Tonight is the GCW Wyoming show. Ricky Morton will achieve something that very few have done, and that is wrestle in all 50 states of the USA.
