HBK taking someone's leg off in the crowd and hitting Diesel with it. As a kid, I couldn't understand how this was possible as I didn't know you could have a prosthetic leg lol. I was about 2 or 3. It was an IYH. Its the example I give of why I love wrestling, it was so bizarre. It was the Vachon brother (Mad Dog?) And they set it up beautifully with a pre match "in the crowd" interview. Amazing moment in a very underrated match.

I remember during the Vince's son angle, it was teased that Sandman was gonna be his son and the crowd were popping HUGE for it. I remember thinking "This is gonna be amazing"... Then it turned out to be Hornswoggle. Ugh. A few months later, Sandman won a Battle Royal to be Raw GM and then Regal came out from under the ring and threw him out to win. Another missed opportunity. Drunken Sandman as Vince's son or at least Raw GM would've been fantastic TV. I remember both of these things. I marked out huge for both. When I thought Sandman won that battle royal I literally jumped off my couch just thinking about how amazing drunken GM Sandman was going to be. That might be the only time they ever got me with the guy hiding under the ring bit. They actually did a good job of disguising it instead of telegraphing it like usual. The thought of Sandman as Vince's son was also a lot of fun. So of course they went with the far more stupid choice.

Does anybody remember a backstage interview(I think it was involving The Dudleys) where one of them said something involving "it's like fighting lions, tigers, and bears" and then the crowd collectively said "oh my?" I wish I can find that segment somewhere. Speaking of the Dudleys, that period of time where Heyman insisted on referring to them as "The Dudley" (singular).

Hey is it just me, or wasn't there a period where when Jonathan Coachmen(who is 6'3) tried to make himself smaller when interviewing wrestlers by bending his knees to make them bigger than they really were? That was so weird, especially when it wasn't like that before.

After hearing Jay-z's 2000 hit "big pimpin" on the radio this morning, does anybody remember the rumor that the WWF wanted to bring him in to wrestle then-ex pimp The Goodfather at the 2001 Royal Rumble? I could've sworn I read that someowhere.

I don't know about that, but they were supposed to have Jay Z and Fabolous (then a star on his record label) battle rap against Cena at WrestleMania 19 but the deal fell through at the last minute, so Cena cut promos against their cardboard cutouts

The Sandman's WWE run is so bizarre in hindsight, him just having a random feud with Carlito of all people lol

Does anybody remember back in 2002 they were trying to make Tommy Dreamer a "Jackass Style" character by doing gross things such as sharing a toothbrush with a dog, eating food off the floor, and drinking Undertaker's tobacco spit? You can tell by then the WWE was desperately trying to keep their "Attitude Era" edge.

At the Sunday Night Heat before Wrestlemania X-8, I remember Rikishi giving Mr. Perfect a stinkface, yet Perfect used his signature handkerchief to cover his face. It then stuck to Kish's big ass. A very weird visual. All I remember was it was in a six man tag.

Yeah, that both sounds like something Dreamer would suggest, and I also just don't picture WWE telling him to put tobacco spit in his mouth without his suggesting it, not the least of which reason being that Vince hates/hated tobacco, anyway. It'd be a whole lot of liability to take on.

Does anybody remember a post match attack when The Big Show took this eyeball in a jar that Mideon was carrying and stuffed it(the eyeball) in his mouth? I could've sworn I've seen something like that happened. It had to be in 1999.

Dreamer basically said he does this to pop the boys off TV anyway

I can't remember the ring announcer, but there was an episode of Raw in the mid to late '00s where they announced the following match was for the Cruiserweight Championship. The match was actually for the IC title. Even the commentators were baffled by it. It was Todd Grisham, filling in for Lilian Garcia, who was selling injuries from the short-lived team of Viscera and Charlie Haas. Some I remember from 2007/2008: Tommy Dreamer dressing as Paul Heyman for a Halloween street fight against Nunzio, who was a vampire. That same episode of ECW featured a "Monster Mash" battle royal between Kane, Mark Henry, Great Khali and Big Daddy V. Brian Kendrick teasing turning heel on Paul London shortly before WrestleMania 24, only to not turn, then get drafted to Smackdown and turn. Gregory Helms doing pop-up video promos during other guys' entrances/matches. Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore facing Miz and Morrison in an iron man match on ECW. Hawkins and Ryder winning the WWE Tag Titles from Miz and Morrison, then doing nothing with them until they lost them to The Colons. Candice Michelle being included in the promos for MyNetwork TV, saying she was part of Smackdown now, only to show up on Raw a month after they started airing. In mid-2008, they started debuting a bunch of guys on Smackdown and ECW, who never won. Shawn Spears was one, Colt Cabana was another. I forget who the third guy was, I know he teamed with Kenny Dykstra for a couple of weeks, then Jesse and Festus wrapped him in bubble wrap and he was never seen again lol Trevor Murdoch, country singer! The Raw where a boom mic fell on CM Punk during a promo and a "fan" ran through the back, did Batista's machine gun pose in front of him, then got chased by security. I think they were trying to show off that the backstage was anarchy with Vince out of the picture.
