Netflix seems to be starting a decline
Doesn’t really bother me, they have too much original stuff and it’s mostly garbage

This seems more like Saban's thing then Netflix and Saban seems to be wanting to try something itself and if that's fully the case...they're dummies.
No matter what you think of Netflix, there isn't really a reason for any other service to take them since they've got their own content. Unless they want to be acquired by Disney again, no good reason why they'd be on Disney+ for example.

Sucks for new people just discovering the series but no problem for someone like I who already has all the series anyway but also gravitates more to the sentai anyways.
And Yes to another twitch PR marathon please.

Idk if they are trying to bring PR in house or anything like that and they want any an all seasons under their preverbial umbrella. But what they are trying to do is basically pull an MCU and have all of PR in their own universe and this includes the movie reboot that is in development.

I thought I heard that after the eOne purchase, they were looking into streaming but it seems the only thing I could find is that they're sending shows onto Vimeo. Which...sort of shows some of the ambition they have for their properties...

With Disney +, Hulu, and HBO Max now on Roku, Netflix is garbage in comparison. I think they're definitely headed south. Also, this is another example of why owning physical media is still a good thing.

And those 3 entities have deep pockets in their own right to buy up the streaming rights to many movies/tv shows we loved back in the day.

Yeah, Hasbro is certainly a player in the entertainment industry so to speak, but they aren't "have their own streaming service" level players. If DC Comics couldn't do it, Hasbro certainly can't.

Doesn't mean they won't try it. They've got some strong properties in Power Rangers, Transformers, GI Joe, and My Little Pony, but those aren't gonna be enough to make people get another streaming service. If they were to come out with one and make it $5 a month, they might have a shot. But they're not gonna make any progress against Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime.

Actually, Hasbro has put most of their shows onto Tubi and the Roku Channel apps, perhaps Power Rangers will see the same fate.

On the flip side, the eOne side has stuff like Pepper Pig and a lot of international distribution rights/its own films like La La Land and Foxcatcher so it could do a sort of Disney+/Star hybrid. It still wouldn't compete with the other services and would be much better off doing deals with those but they could do that.

Streaming is nice but its content has been sorely limited compared to that gilded age of Netflix on DVD.

Also, this is another example of why owning physical media is still a good thing. Also Peacock just took the Office. I wish people would stop acting like Netflix is the only option for video entertainment, it bothers me when everyone is all like Netflix or death.
