Kofi in particular was just horrendous tonight, between the, "CORRRRRRRRRECT!" screaming and the weird ass dance he did in the match itself, though Xavier wasn't a whole lot better.

Kofi's WWE title reign feels so much longer ago than last year.

They have been bad for a long long time. People are just noticing now.

When they lost Big E, they lost the magic that made the group, and with that also came the forgiveness of the gimmick being corny
These guys are shells of themselves trying to keep the New Day going at a Quarter of a Tank. Kofi's phoning it in and should frankly be embarrassed, and Xavier isnt much better
These guys are great performers, but this ain't it, they are so bad I dont even think kids would laugh at this shit.

If Big E is gone so too should be the team in general. It’s be weird to have two on one show so it’d be something different to send Woods to NXT.

They've had a hell of a run and will always be remembered as one of the great tag teams/factions, but it sure feels like they're running on fumes now.

They desperately need to evolve. And that doesn't mean being more aggressive and having an edge. Just take the act in some sort of different direction. This many years of the same schtick can only go so far.

This many years of the same schtick can only go so far. I mean, the act has gone for over six years now, largely unbroken other than the last few months with Big E on the other show and scattered injury absences. Very few teams ever go that long without breaking up fully or major reinvention.

Unpopular opinion but they were always terrible.
Instant fast forward for me. Although they did have some good matches like the HIAC against the Usos.

Ever since they went into LOL FOOD mode. I remember there was a time I dig them... but I can’t for the life of me remember what they were like, so maybe I’m just making that up.

No fans has hurt them, and a lot of the wrestlers. A big part of their thing is crowd interaction, and obviously, there's been no crowd for 9 months.

Maybe they need a change of scenery? Like leaving WWE?

To be honest, they should never have split up Kofi and Xavier from Big E. I mean, they could have still given E the single's push he's getting right now while still having the other two support him, just like they did when it was Kofi getting pushed. Because the current New Day is just... missing something, like their hearts just aren't in it.

Maybe their heel run when they had those awesome Run DMC style shirts? I dunno. I found them extremely irritating and unfunny. But I can't deny they're over. Think it's time for Kofi and Xavier to go their separate ways now. Get Kofi back in the title mix.

Good tag and midcard guy. Nothing more.

Kofi's WWE title reign feels so much longer ago than last year. That's because it was in 2019!

It's just old. All three guys are great talents, and fully capable of being funny, but the material's weak, and there isn't much of anything for them to really play off of in the main roster tag scene.
It feels like when the Dudley Boyz were still doing Wazzups and the rest of their shtick after E&C and the Hardyz had moved on, while generally competing against teams that had very little going for them in terms of character or credibility.
Fans know Kofi and Xavier can work and they still are viewed as generally pretty credible, but they aren't like Big E where they can just pulverize people and stave off criticism as easily. They're losing their effectiveness as a cornerstone to build a tag division around, especially since WWE simply refuses to do it. Gedo in NJPW would look at WWE and say, "could you pretend to give even a little bit of a shit about your tag division?"

I was skimming through Raw today briefly catching up and landed on their promo and heard Xavier bring up smell-o-vision and clicked away before he even hit the punchline. Please no. I still love Kofi but just no.

Without Big E they feel like Xpac coming out alone in the early 2000's crotch chopping and screaming SUCK IT
