I'm starting to loathe the Defense group celebrations in the end zone.

Saints got a good chance to take command of this game
Get a score here before the half and getting the ball back for the 2nd half

Drew Brees is lucky he's got a very good team around him, otherwise his final season could have been eerily reminiscent of Dan Marino with the 1999 Dolphins. I was a teenager when that happened so I don't remember that at all. How bad was he? 12 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 67.4 rating over 11 starts, ending in a 62-7 loss to the Jaguars in the playoffs. It felt like a season-long march toward the inevitable, even though Marino tried to field offers before the 2000 season. He was the last of a dying breed: an absolute pure pocket passer, a statue in the pocket with zero mobility. The game was starting to change even back then, with the likes of Steve McNair and Donovan McNabb in the NFL and Michael Vick on the way. Brees obviously wasn't close to that bad - 24 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 106.4 rating - but his loss in arm strength is glaring and I'd rather see him retire a year early and go out with his head held high than a year late like Marino and almost sully his legacy with a horrendous final season. I'm starting to loathe the Defense group celebrations in the end zone. I'm willing to make an exception for this year alone because (with few exceptions) there's little or no fans in the stands, so the cameras in the end zones are really the only places that the defense can show off and celebrate. But once fans return to the stands at full capacity, I never again want to see a first quarter interception responded to with a full-team celebration in the end zone.

I'm starting to loathe the Defense group celebrations in the end zone. It's a little much when everyone is doing it no matter what the game situation is. Doing one in the beginning of the 4th quarter when you're down by 20 is stupid as f***

Brees noodle arm isn't as bad as Peytons but it is getting there Also Peyton arm you can blame on age and his messed up neck

The starting quarterback, who can't throw deep, comes off the field for the backup quarterback, whose only attribute over the starter is that he can throw deep. How on earth do the Buccaneers get beat deep? Because their coaching is soggy dogshit

No they aren't They are obnoxious but this has been for only a year or two Pats fans have been like this for 20 years, an entire lifetime for some people Pats fans are not only obnoxious but spoiled and played the victim for way too long I lost count of how many times Brady or Belichick or the Pats players threw a fit when a call didn't go their way and they whined until the ref finally throws them a flag.
Not to mention each time they lost the Super Bowl, they walked off the field without even shaking the opposing teams hands

How on earth do the Buccaneers get beat deep? Because their coaching is soggy dogshit If you gave Bill Belichick and the 2020 Patriots coaching staff control of the 2020 Buccaneers roster, they'd be 14-2 at worst. There's so much talent on both sides of the ball and it's probably the most offensive talent Tom Brady's had since the 2011-12 Patriots teams. They just can't get coached out of their own way when it comes to mistakes and boneheaded penalties.

It's why I've always said the Team Brady vs Team Bill debate over who was responsible for those 6 rings was/is dumb as f***. They're the greatest coach/QB combo ever. Neither would be nearly as successful without the other

Man, this feels like two 40 something year old QBs playing today Greats but they damn sure not in their prime anymore Tom Brady needs to stop relying so damn much on Antonio Brown. I get that Mike Evans has been totally locked down by Marshon Lattimore, but Brady needs to look to Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate, and Scotty Miller as options instead of being so reliant on Brown.

Yea, seems like he's just trying to get Brown into beast mode again when he isn't that guy anymore either Bucs have enough piece to spread the wealth and the running game hasn't been that bad. Just feels like a defensive battle focused on both these QBs shortcomings

Brady's devotion to him is really weird. Brown played a game in NE before the shit hit the fan and Brown spent the rest last year acting like a total loon. Brown is not a good individual. He's not the same guy on field and Tampa didnt need him to begin with but Brady keeps trying to make fetch happen
