Nice thing about the news last night: up until the end of 2021 ROH seemed like the main holdout company not really doing "forbidden door" stuff that much (outside of the partnership with NJPW). Now, with AEW having a solid relationship with Impact, just about anything's on the table.

ROH now has the ability, feasibly, to work with NJPW, AAA, GCW, Impact, and NWA possibly if they're still on good terms. Maybe even DDT.

TJPW's Sumo Hall Show, Grand Princess '22 on March 19th, will feature Hikaru Shida vs. Hikari Noa. Announced at the ongoing Korakuen Hall show . . I couldn't think of another place to post this so I'm just doing it here since it kinda fits I guess lol, but the poster TJPW did for Shida vs. Noa is pretty cool.

MLW has mostly been against all the cross-promotion, at least when it comes to other US promotions. I think Bauer fears that they may be perceived as second banana in any partnership, and would rather portray themselves as a world-class league all on their own.

Which, I suppose that makes some amount of sense, though I do suspect part of the concern is also talent getting poached. MLW do not pay very well outside of maybe their top talent. There's a reason they will take chances on guys other companies are shunning, as well as having over-the-hill guys or newbies. They did cross-promote with Savio Vega, but Puerto Rico, while part of the US, is obviously a different matter, being outside of the continental US.

Yeah, they will do cross-promotion with feds outside the continental US, like how Tajiri defended the MLW Middleweight title in AJPW or over in the UK for World Pro Wrestling against Jody Fleisch which makes MLW seem like a bigger deal. They just don't want another US based world champion appearing on their show, instantly undermining how they are presenting Hammerstone or whoever as their world champion.

Christopher Daniels announced a partnership to send more DDT wrestlers to AEW at today’s show. twitter.com/ddtpro/status/1505426058132455424?s=21Also at Ice Ribbon today, Shida said she’ll go back to America tomorrow but will be at Ice Ribbon’s 5/4 show (Tsukasa Fujimoto’s final match before going on hiatus after getting married.)

I initially misread this to suggest Tsukasa and Hikaru got married to each other.

I'm not too shocked by this, Boss Takagi was talking about wanting to strengthen the relationship between AEW and CyberFight a couple of months ago.

Jericho's appreciation society should start talking of his legendary status in Japan prompting Chris to bring over a big name Japanese star to join his stable. It's pokotan! The goat and seal connection is born. So many potential directions, a rival in the costume, Jericho distraught as Danielson literally kicks its head in, Hager being jealous.
Chris Brookes can face Oc, Danhausen, Abandon, anything to keep his weird few years going.
Maybe most importantly TK gets access to explosion expertise.

Long time coming. Pretty sure they were set to announce it before the pandemic. Will likely see young talent from AEW go on excursions to DDT
