So with Deonna coming in to have a unification match with Mercedes Martinez and MJF likely bringing in W Morrissey to face Wardlow, looks like the door is open between AEW and Impact again.

Good, it felt weird that Impact was kind of becoming the outlier when they were one of the first to mess with the Door I assume that with Tony now owning ROH, there might be a partnership in mind there too, some Impact talents being used on an ROH show that potentially gets a good TV Deal would probably be something to entertain.

Stardom basically saying yeah it’s cool but you have to come here lol. I’m not exactly the biggest stardom guy but props to them seemingly stressing the two way aspect of it. I’ve gotten the impression that a lot of Japanese companies look at that WK week/weekend as a way to appeal to international fans though. It’s always a big week but in recent years they’re more conscious of the fans that fly in.

Im curious if they'll let the ROH titles be defended on Impact, it was cool to see Gresham show up anywhere with the belt to defend it including on Impact and I wouldn't mind Deonna doing something similar if she won

Yuka is making an AEW appearance soon but it's interesting that she can do this and still be in Japan on the third? No complaints from me but there's no long term angle and doing it on short notice is interesting.

Just realised that the date clashes with when my Australian family is coming over to scatter my step dad's ashes, no way I can go. Bit gutted, had psyched myself up and was really excited to have a bit of an adventure.

Pandemic restrictions ending is a very good thing really I just hope this is for an Owen Qualifier, especially when it seems to sudden. Would seem weird to just call her over just for Elevation, but Dynamite and Rampage both have a women's match already... so I guess we'll see.

WHEELER YUTA IS IN BEST OF THE SUPER JUNIORS!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
Also, to add to some of the other stuff going on with doors, Impact’s Ace Austin’s in the tournament too.

It’s sort of amazing MLW is both one of the scummiest promotions in history and one of the most important of the 21st century at the same time.

MLW sits on this strange ass place in this cross promotional madness. Like it help revitalize some people(Tony Schiavone), used others that wouldn't be used in 90% of most other companies and kept the name of people out there after Lucha Underground ended. And there's some legitimate good wrestlers there like the Von Erichs, Jacob Fatu & Alex Hammerstone.

MSL frustrates me because his shilling for Microman on Fusion is hilarious, but MSL the person can be an asshole.

That is a great spot for Yuta as well. For those unfamiliar with the line-up, the only ones that will be protected are the Els - Desperado, Lindaman and Phantasmo - who will be at the top of the bracket with 6-7 wins. Everyone else will likely get about 4 wins (give or take), and Yuta won't have to compete with any new foreign talent in terms of showcases in his block, since they put all of the other first-time Westerners in Block A (Connors, Akira, Zayne & Austin).
Could be a big showing for him. Not thinking he'll win or even be a finalist, but stranger things have happened in BOSJ before.
