As a kid, I thought Kevin was a top notch gamer, but looking back now, maybe it is not fair as an adult I have had to beat games I couldn't as a little kid. But really, Cut Man stage gives him trouble?
One thing I can't take away from him, he had two hot girls fighting over him. I know that is only the comics, but still got to give him credit for that.

I mean, from the characters he encountered, he was great at bootleg games. Thus why he met them and not, well, anyone legit.

Being able to physically run, jump, & shoot without tiring was a bigger priority. Heck, at one point it's established he was on the high school swim team, so he clearly got the job because water levels are the worse ones.

He held his own against King Hippo while his dog was bothering him.
Besides, have you SEEN Princess Lana? If she was impressed, then he's good enough at games, I'd say.

You know, considering all the franchises Nintendo has access to these days, I would love for someone to give this concept another go, but actually being accurate to the games this time.

It would be the opposite problem essentially: not enough creative freedom. Looking at how strict Nintendo is with their branding these days and Mario in particular. Looking at gow watered down Paper Mario got I can't imagine a show with multiple IPs would be able to do very much with them.

A rare show where the German dub actually made the show better than it originally was with some funny dub scripts.
I actually was baffled when I saw the original show for the first time that we Germans didn't have to endure Kid Icarus oing "-iticus this" and "maximus that" or Mega Man sounding like he smoked three cigarette cartons a day.

(You can even recreate most of the N Team in that game.)

Think they would've had Ninja Gaiden or Final Fantasy featured on there.
And geez louise, what did they do to you Simon?

Yeah, but he admitted that he couldnt beat The Adventures of Bayou Billy. Let's see old Captain N take on the likes of Shao Kahn, Gesse Howard and Rugal.
