Honestly I'd a lot rather have a Zelda HD bundle than I would BotW2. I like BotW a lot but it's probably my least favorite non-Skyward Sword 3D game.

I secretly hope that BotW 2 and Metroid Prime 4 just turn out to be the 'Chinese Democracy' of video games.

Wild fact: Technically, Tekken, Street Fighter, King of Fighters and Virtua Fighter are now in the same game via Ultimate.

I secretly hope that BotW 2 and Metroid Prime 4 just turn out to be the 'Chinese Democracy' of video games. After all its development problems I'm pretty much operating under the assumption that there is zero chance Prime 4 is going to be good.

Looked great but I can't lie I'm bummed that Zelda got benched again after the first trailer made it seem like she'd be joining you more

I feel like Microsoft "won" the show just due to the Game Pass stuff. That service is easily the best deal in gaming right now.

I love that Zelda's got a bike in the Hyrule Warriors DLC.
Easily the best presentation of E3 this year. Not just because the other presentations sucked, but also because there's a lot of stuff shown I'm looking forward to.

I'm also pretty disappointed that we got zero shadow drops.

So that Direct f***ing slapped. Agreed, a lot of games that look good, some surprises, gameplay, a lot of stuff to look forward to.

Without the Beasts though, I have to think we'll be getting something more familiar

Me personally, Microsoft showed me they actually were doing first-party titles again, Nintendo actually had a diverse range to show and way more than they usually would (WarioWare and Advance Wars not being usual showcase Direct titles being in there is good in doing that) and the two main indie presentations (IGN and Wholesome) showed me that there's some really interesting ideas that hopefully get seen by people.
What was more interesting was the fact that it's slowly becoming clear that Geoff Keighley's vision of what "E3" is is going to become the norm at some point because he seemed to grab a good chunk of exclusives and overshadowed most of the showcases.

My wishlist for BOTW2 was a heavier story emphasis (not like a HUGE story, just like OOT level instead of the low levels the original had) and more Zelda herself, and now I gotta prep for the latter to not happen lol

And I can't say I blame him for doing it again, especially after that ESA leak of press application details and such eroding some of their goodwill and other developers and publishers dropping out.
