🧨🚪 2/10/21 AEW Dynamite Thread: The Forbidden Door is Broken

Tonight on Dynamite, we get quite possibly one of the biggest non-title main events ever in the show's history as the so-called "Forbidden Door" has been firmly kicked in. Here's what's in store:


- FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE, ANYTHING GOES: Jon Moxley and Lance Archer vs NJPW's KENTA and Kenny Omega. KENTA shocked the wrestling world last week at Beach Break when he emerged in the closing moments to put Mox to sleep with a G2S. Post-show, Kenny issued a challenge to both Mox and Archer, and this is how we have this match.

- Darby Allin vs Joey Janela: TNT Championship

- Chris Jericho and MJF vs The Acclaimed

- Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson vs Peter Avalon and Cezar Bononi

- PAC vs Ryan Nemeth

- Women's Title Eliminator Tournament First Round (US Bracket): "Legit" Leyla Hirsch vs Thunder Rosa

- "Hangman" Adam Page speaks after winning a tag match with Matt Hardy next week

- Tony Schiavone interviews Sting

Half of the show seems great and the rest seems pretty meh which is fine for a show a week after a special.

Janela vs Allin could be really good

Women's match should be good if given time

That main event should be a banger

The rest of the show? Eh. Don't care for the Jericho/MJF match one bit thanks to Jericho. Don't care for seeing Ryan Nemeth again and I'm so done with this Cody story.

What I hope for tonight is Lee Johnson and Cezar Bononi look great and that The Acclaimed also get a lot of shit in. Say what you want about Jericho, and plenty do, he has been giving a lot to the young kids, which is nice.
