Kind of puts all those times when the champion only won 75% of the time into perspective now, don't it? Reigns ain't losing PERIOD until he loses the belt.

Too bad they exploded the Hurt Business, because you’ve got an easy Hurt Business vs Bloodline setup

I think every Smackdown since this title run has had him in a chair backstage right? What the hell is that statue thing behind Roman? (not the Paul Heyman one, behind his other shoulder)

Why yes, it is completely reasonable to have your top heel who's been champ for over a year and has no one in sight built up to beat him show up on the other show to beat your new face champ twice in one night. That isn't at all absolutely goddamn insane.

I don't care how good the match was... I'm so tired of Heel Roman Reigns and his endless DOMINANT HEAT fountain.
The finish was also so f***ing stupid and I dare anyone to try and deny how stupid Lashley slamming Big E until he is dead with a chair... then walking around and posing with said chair while Roman is slowly rising in the corner so Lashley can around in perfect position for the Spear ISN'T the stupidest f***ing finish ever. It made Lashley look like a total and complete moron on top of everything else.
The fact we have to deal with this with no end in sight until Mania is what's making WWE especially tedious to even half watch lately. It's bad enough when Roman's confined to one show... this just felt like Smackdown 2: Heat Boogaloo. One show with this shit is bad enough.

Few stats for y'all...
Based on my findings in the points ranking project, tonight were Reigns's 299th and 300th scored wins. This puts him at a career TV win/loss record of 300-109-19. Only six other wrestlers within the scope of the project (2006-now, but in the process of expanding to 2005), have won as many matches, and all of them have a few years head start on Reigns, whose first scored matches were in 2012 NXT (I don't count FCW):
*Kofi Kingston (414-367-16, debuted in 2008) *Sheamus (381-281-23, debuted in 2009) *Randy Orton (379-295-46 is his record since the start of 2006) *John Cena (357-155-31 since the start of 2006) *Dolph Ziggler (330-442-21 since the start of 2006, so this includes his run as Nicky from the Spirit Squad, but not his run as Nick Nemeth, golf caddy for Kerwin White) *The Miz (311-439-24, with only one match from his Tough Enough appearance in 2004 lying outside the scope of the project before his debut in 2006)
Next active WWE wrestler up... Jimmy Uso at 268-206-12 (debuted in 2010).

Kofi Kingston (414-367-16, debuted in 2008) Fun fact: Half of those wins are on Dolph Ziggler.

Kofi Kingston (414-367-16, debuted in 2008) Fun fact: Half of those wins are on Dolph Ziggler. For realsies, I've got them having competed against each other in 30 singles matches over the course of the project. The stats are 15 wins to Kingston, 14 to Ziggler and one no contest. What probably makes it feel like such a spammed combination is that 25 of them were in a four-year span between 2010 and 2013. Since the end of 2013, they've only fought each other in singles matches four times. The remaining outlier was their very first singles match against each other in 2009, which I could've counted if "26 from five" sounded more impressive than "25 from four". Of course, this doesn't factor in all the tags and multi-man matches, but I'm a mere statistician, not a rocket scientist.

My head canon is now Cena didn’t lose to Nexus because he hated the fact they were going to screw Ziggler out of the win at SummerSlam.

"Card subject to change" keeps popping up in my head through all the talk of Roman hanging on to the title through all this.

Me waiting for Roman to lose: Someone needs to make the meme with Vince: Draw 25 or have Roman lose a match.

It sucks how little I find myself caring about Finn right now, and I loved dude during his NXT return (even though I had some complaints about his character). If The Demon gets choked out at Extreme Rules, hoo boy...

If The Demon gets choked out at Extreme Rules, hoo boy... For real. One of the best and coolest in the entire wrestling world and he feels like an afterthought. That’s why back when it was being wondered which show he should join I was hoping for RAW cause this seemed inevitable. I legit didn’t think they’d get there so soon though.

Has Roman ever experience any genuine comeuppance this run?
