Eh, at least Roman smashing the hell out of Shinsuke won’t bug me.

Don't mind me, just bumping this thread with the news that Roman and The Bloodline have declared their intention to win every single mens title in WWE. Oh... [The year is 2050, Roman Reigns has been undefeated for three decades, and has been the reigning NXT NA, NXT UK, NXT, 24/7, US, IC, Universal, and WWE champion since the mid-2020s]Roman apologists: "He still needs this next win to truly cement himself." Goddammit, I was being hyperbolic to make a point!

This is just lame at this point, we know Shinsuke don't even have a 0.5 percent chance of winning, and they immediately make him look like a f***ing idiot geek two minutes into the confrontation and leave him laying because of course they do
This shit's old, and it's not entertaining anymore when it's the same damn f***ing thing over and over, with no semblance of difference, Roman shows no weakness, no issues, he just pounds a dude into dust and moves on to the next few months feud, while everyone in WWE sucks him off.
It's agony, Smackdown is agony with this Bloodline shit right now and has been for awhile, but the prospect of it going an entire other year at this point has worn it so thin it's down to the bone.

How does it hurt Roman if Shinsuke actually ends the promo looking strong... or that Roman's attempt to attack him fail? It doesn't. But no we need the infinite heat and Roman has to suffer no set backs whatsoever. It's been two f***ing years, shit or get off the pot...

I almost want to apologize to Triple H and John Cena at this point.
At least they would take a loss or drop a belt every so often during their peaks.

And the first opponent for Roman after winning both titles, is The Choke Artist Known As Shinsuke.
Dude is going to lose, everyone knows it, how can anyone get excited for this match?

Shinsuke finally gets the title shot he should have got on the road to Mania last year. Talk about waiting too long.

I'm not saying it's misery booking, but I don't get it at all
So the Roman Brock feud is over, but in a really underwhelming way. WWE actually managed to get people interested in a match that a lot of fans were bored of- because of the long term storytelling, the fun angles leading up to Mania and the character reversals in Brock and Roman.
And then Roman just beats Brock clean in ten minutes or so with no real up or downs. I understand and am cool with Roman beating Brock clean, I get that. But shouldn't Brock have gotten some kind of retribution on Heyman and the Bloodline at least before losing the match? Like punching out an interfering Heyman?
All the buildup and Brock doesn't get any revenge at all.

I'm happy Shinsuke gets another shot at the title, but we'll all know how it's gonna go.

When someone beats Reigns they’re gonna make a new big star! Damn, I just used a random eye roll gif. If only I knew how unfortunate my choice was.

It’s kind of crazy to think that he’s been Universal champ for so long that the last two Universal champs are gone from the company. That was roughly 18 months ago, but feels like 5 years ago now.

Well, there was that brief interlude last summer when Edge beat up the Usos without repercussion for 3 weeks and then, when Reigns got involved, Edge beat him up and made him tap out to the Crossface in the middle of the ring. So, we can't say he never made his opponents look strong in 18 months. Hell, here's a whole 5 minutes of it last summer.

So yeah, Roman will get beaten up like once every 6-8 months it seems.

All the buildup and Brock doesn't get any revenge at all. Yes, he should. Something like costing The Usos the tag team championships or pulling Heyman in front of Reigns so he spears Paul. Instead, nothing. The Undertaker made Heyman bleed in 2002, but Beastie Boy got nothing.
