I absolutely love The Bloodline is Thanos storyline and trying to collect and unify all the belts. I love a good ole heel stable gets all the titles and then immediately starts to disband from all the ego. Dude it's been over three years, that's not the plan. This shit's gonna go on a whole nother year and change, at this point they've lost the f***ing plot and they don't HAVE an endgame, or any plans for them to break up. This shit's like if Thanos won, and that's it, and maybe just to make sure you didn't get it, he wins again, and then a third time, and then a fourth... and then he goes back and kills a guy he already killed again, so you REALLY get it.

At least The Authority LOST A MATCH once in a while, when was the last time any member of Bloodline took a single fall? Jimmy Uso in March, I think. He was pinned by Shinsuke Nakamura on the 25th, Boogs pinned Jey on the 11th.
Personally, I'm beginning to doubt the story that Boogs and Nakamura were supposed to win the titles at 'mania, or at least hold them for any decent amount of time considering this storyline.

Yeah, and I hate the "no one is in position to beat Roman" line... because... it's been 2 f***ing years... that's on the WWE for not building anyone up. They've had TWO f***ING YEARS. Instead it's been 2 years of destroying every one else's credibility ... because ... reasons?

The fact that they are HEELS makes it even worse. WWE has been at it’s best when a babyface has been the top star.

the main thing I heard was the ending got changed, not that the outcome did. I have a feeling Boogs was supposed to take the fall due to his inexperience or something but that changed due to his knee blowing.

I said in the Raw thread if they are going to unify the tag titles then have Nakamura cost the Uso's the tag titles to RKBro, it at least gives Roman a valid reason to job him out apart Boogs is injured and your upset.

Instead it's been 2 years of destroying every one else's credibility ... because ... reasons? Just for some context to how bad this is... I remember when people were ragging on The Elite Storyline for going too long in AEW due to its heat segments, or the Baker storyline going on too long, also for the same reason Neither of those storylines lasted a full year, Roman's Bloodline dominance has been going on since BEFORE. THE. PANDEMIC. And it's STILL GOING with no end in sight, no plan, no nothing. He's literally gonna coast to Mania, maybe fight The Rock, and then win again anyway whether he does or not This isn't bad heat, this is the heat death of the universe. Heat segments can get derivative and deflate people, hell not even in AEW, look at how negatively House Of Torture was treated in New Japan recently, same aspect. Watching the same heat segment going on for what is essentially an ENTIRE ERA of WWE it feels like, is the reason this thread exists, it is miserable, it's run Roman into the ground, and you can tell how badly it's effected the card when CODY RHODES, who JUST GOT HERE, feels like the only credible or fresh threat to Roman, who meanwhile, is going to destroy Nakamura again in a meaningless Smackdown/Backlash feud, because they have literally nothing left for him. It just... it sucks, there's no other way around it. Roman's character isn't inherently the problem, it's the fact the character has no challenge, no weakness, and no speedbump... which even The Elite and Baker took to some extent, and showed SOME sort of weakness to their dominating heel era, and then most importantly, they lost to a very over face. If someone, say MJF came in, killed everyone with zero resistance, and constantly used The Pinnacle to hold everyone down, and cut the same promos he always did, we'd have the same issues. It's just been shit presentation for a long time, every show blends into each other because it's the same Roman bullshit, and the worst part is, there is no end in sight... at all, and the Usos getting all the tag belts would only escalate the problem, and make it WORSE.

The issue with WWE doing a Thanos storyline is that most of us simply don’t expect The Avengers to ever show up to win the final battle and thus have already abandoned the story. Or, that it won’t be The Avengers, but Thanos’s famous movie star cousin that hasn’t appeared in the storyline at all to this point.

There is still Drew who is the clear option they've always had in mind to end this, but to keep them apart for the 8 months or so Drew has been in dead air feuds with Corbin and Jinder Mahal that not one person has cared about at any point. So it's basically Roman loses this to Drew at Summerslam (which they need to work Drew back up to probably) or he loses it to the MITB winner (unbelievably cheap and lazy). Or this just goes on until next Mania and he loses to Cody or Bron or whatever. Pretty much all the options they have.

I feel like this Roman Reign is viewed so differently here than what the attendance, live crowd reactions, tv ratings, and social media viewership would have you believe. I understand not liking this run and just saying it's not for you. Hey, that's understandable and that's a personable preference. But people on this board would have you believe that this thing sucks and has no juice left in it when nothing is coming out from real-world metrics that you have you believe that Roman needs to drop the belt anytime soon. In fact, it's so successful that they're adding to it by having the Uso go after the gold because all the metrics are saying "hey keep this shit going".
Now don't get me wrong, this will feel like a big waste of time if you don't get a solid payoff to this story but I feel like they have multiple avenues to get to that point. You goy Drew, Cody, and even Jey if you want. You have guys who dethrone Roman and it would be believable. But right now, all the metrics are saying that Reigns is hotter than ever. You keep that going IMO.

Brock was never and shouldn't have been the person to defeat Roman but they are the two biggest stars in the company so you do the match at Mania but that wasn't the endgame.

He’s Roman’s butt money and little else at this point. And Drew has been dragged down with the agonizingly long feud with Corbin.

Roman's character reminds me of a typical OP Isekai protagonist (for all you anime fans). You know that no foe is a serious threat to him thus over time things quickly become very boring, very predictable, and very stale.
