In isolation it's a weak finish but in terms of advancing the story it did exactly what it needed to. Yea, the story knocked it out the park |

Yeah, this has to be a triple threat. The beef is entirely between Bryan & Edge and Bryan & Roman. Edge & Roman have basically nothing to do with each other.

Yeah there’s a lot more heat on the match now but only if it’s a triple threat. Bryan holds the whole thing together.

If they just handwave Edge's heel turn away on Smackdown, and they didn't just plant the seeds for a triple threat, I'm going to be really annoyed. Heel Edge vs Heel Roman would blow from a story perspective. Put Bryan in that mix and you've got yourself a Mania main event.

One of the two World Title matches was going to be a triple threat. After Drew beat Sheamus, the Universal Title is for sure going to be one.
