One underrated part of Kingston's promo was how open he was about his PTSD triggering during the non-explosion and owning up to it. You don't get that kind of humanity from a wrestling storyline often. Yeh, I really hate the idea babyfaces should be devoid of human emotion to work. Empathy and Sensibility are amazing human charitesritics.

Tonight also probably had the strongest heat Kenny has gotten during this whole run. They were furious when they came out.

Really can't be overstated how much the live crowds seem to care about Christian, and in general but especially live. When he confronted and almost laid out Omega and teased the title they were white hot.

I also like they kept it ambiguous the explosion failed or if it was on purpose(kayfabe wise)

They're not gonna take the blame they're gonna pass the buck. You aren't supposed to believe them, that's why their explanation was so flimsy in the first place. They know they screwed up, but they'd never ever admit it.

As someone who's only keeping tabs from afar, is this working partnership really doing anything to benefit Impact? Because all I see of it are Tony Khan paid ads making fun of them on their own show, and now they're making fun of them on Dynamite too. Yes both their ratings and buy rates have increased significantly since. Hard to Kill apparently did a good buyrate by Impact standards, but any spikes in viewership haven't lasted more than one episode. January 5: 148,000 viewers with a 0.04 rating in 18-49 January 12: 161,000 viewers with a 0.05 rating in 18-49 January 19: 147,000 viewers with a 0.03 rating in 18-49 (post-Hard To Kill episode) January 26: 186,000 viewers with a 0.05 rating in 18-49 February 2: 173,000 viewers with a 0.05 rating in 18-49 February 9: 153,000 viewers with a 0.04 rating in 18-49 February 16: 197,000 viewers with a 0.06 rating in 18-49 (post-No Surrender episode) February 23: 170,000 viewers with a 0.04 rating in 18-49 March 2: 134,000 viewers with a 0.03 rating in 18-49 March 9: 144,000 viewers with a 0.04 rating in 18-49

I gotta say, they really bounced back. With all due respect to Mick Foley, I think it would have looked really weak if AEW simply just apologized for the botch. This way AEW handled it had a lot of possibilities of what to do. You gotta roll with the momentum, instead of trying to stop it and hope people get over it.

Kenny is my favorite wrestler in the world, and in that moment even I wanted Eddie to kick the absolute shit out of him.

I hated it, but they did a good job recovering. Kingston-Mox is fun, Callis-Omega is fun. I mean, it sucks, it hurt them, but they worked with it. They made lemonade.
