Kane is definitely in the conversation for best HOF speech. Concise and very authentic. It's a shame it wasn't in front of a live crowd.

I don't know there, Glen, that height is a pretty big natural gift. But can that be taught?

Wasn't as fun or interesting as I'd expect of a Hall of Fame, and I can't disagree with the complaints here about poor production and the weird atmosphere, but it did pick up a bit in the 2021 show.
The short speeches felt too short, like nobody really got much of a chance to really explore anything or tell any cool stories, but maybe it just wouldn't have felt right even if they had, with the lack of a real audience. I guess they tried, managing to still make some kind of a show out of it, especially with having to cram 2 years of inductees into 3 hours and the restrictive environment.
Still, I learnt that I'd apparently totally missed the third phase of Molly Holly's WWE career, I really don't remember the character she became after the Hurricane superhero gimmick, that must've been when I got bored/tired of WWE in the late 00s.

Imagine getting interviewed for the red carpet and then you have to go and get changed to do another 30 second interview for the next year's version. They filmed the ceremonies on separate days (one day after the other).

It lasted three years exactly from April 2002 until when she left in April 2005. Holly Cousin Molly I think maybe lasted a year if that and then Mighty Molly was only maybe six months.

I dunno, I didn't think I did, but I guess I must have. Wasn't when I thought it was (I remember going off the product in the late 00s as mentioned, but that wouldn't account for missing the early 00s portion of her career), so it must've been the previous time when my interest waned in the Ruthless Aggression era. I didn't know all the new guys that came in and it just seemed to be full of random bodies that I never latched onto, while a lot of the guys I'd got to like from the Attitude Era were gone or in the process of winding down. I got to like some of the WCW guys like Booker and DDP, but a lot of the random newbies that I assume came up from FCW I was very meh on, so I kinda phased out for a while.
Turns out I had a very patchy relationship with WWF/WWE after the Invasion, but it's easy to forget which bits are which when there's so much history, with some parts having been retrospectively filled in by watching/listening to retro review shows.
Edit: Hah, even my FCW timeline is out of whack, it wasn't even a WWE developmental territory until the late 00s. Would've been OVW back then.

I got lucky when I met Hall. Hall with me & the Mrs. were talking like old friends. Even asked us for hugs before we left. Sorry you didnt get a good experience with him :-(. Never met Hall, but I got his autograph with my name on it (and a DVD) for donating $50 to DDP’s fundraising campaign for Hall to get surgery before he could perform the yoga class. He’s still my favourite wrestler of all time and I felt like I owed him a bit of gratitude; I still like his Razor Ramon character better. I also saw Nash at a local show a few years ago and he seemed uninterested in fan interaction. My husband and I pissed off Kevin Nash, when we met him. It gave us an unintentionally hilarious picture. I love it, lol.

Whoever produced this can gladly be fired. The live crowds are bad enough with forced chants, this canned laughter may be even worse. They just should've had superstars spaced out at tables as the audience. Oh well.

I think that Vince is going to be pissed when live crowds return and he can't craft every reaction anymore. After all these years he finally got the crowd he wanted... and he's close to losing it.

Vince: I must create a new super virus so that I can keep control of the crowd. Never again will I have Roman Reigns be booed or cheered the way they want to. Triple H: Sir Roman is actually getting great reactions from fans now with his Tribal Cheif gimmick isn't that what you wanted? Vince: But when the fans come back they will only cheer him for a little while then I will turn him face and kill everything that made him loved by the fans and then he will be booed again just like before. Triple H: Then maybe don't do that last part then. You know just let him stay a heel for now and don't kill his momentum. Wouldn't that be easier than trying to *laughs* create a Super Virus to keep things the way they are. Vince: Perhaps but then....I would never be happy with myself if I let this chance slip through. Triple H: You're never happy pops. Vince: Okay get all of the worlds best scientists. By god we'll give them a virus so super it will be called after me: McMahonism! Triple H: Okay look I'm just going to go back to running NXT on Tuesdays and let you do whatever the hell you want and when this blows up in your face cause it will don't come looking for me.

Made up for what assholes Hall and Nash were. I would be interested in hearing this story. Sure. Hall I guess could be joking but he did fire a few fat comments at my friend for no real reason, but came off like an insensitive asshole. Nash I actually had met at Wrestlecon in 2016 and he was cool but this time in 2019 he barely looked up from his phone and didn't even put it down for the picture, didn't seem interested in being there or like he wanted to be. Could have been a bad day with something but it was just very negative. Bischoff on the other hand was one of the coolest I've ever met.

It seems a bit like Hall doing a video on Virgil at his table where he was trying to be funny but came off as pretty mean to Virgil.

The inductions of Baron Michele Leone, Ethel Johnson, and Pez Whatley are exactly why there are hundreds of potential Legacy Wing inductees. That said, why in the world did they shrink it down to five per class!? They've turned decades worth of Legacy Wing classes into half of a century worth of classes now. The Legacy Wing isn't something you want around forever. It's something you use to catch up on people who would never get a regular induction in the next twenty years. It can't be that Triple H was overwhelmed at coming up with twenty inductees this year because he dug deep for some of them.
Speaking of which, they inducted Buzz Sawyer. Five spots available and you land on him? There are plenty of abusive drug addicts that didn't screw over the Undertaker that they could have inducted. It's bonkers.

I actually didn't mind that just because of what a con man Virgil apparently is. Guy kind of had it coming imo. Also while mean it was kind of funny. Like when Hall was calling him out for only selling pictures of him with bigger stars and then Virgil pointing out his action figure he was selling with Hall then putting it on his back and going it "you would recognize it if he was on his back like that because that's how we saw him the most".

Lol @ Bellas getting the fake "ONE MORE MATCH!" chant. The Bella’s probably request it to be added They’re rumored to be returning this year to challenge for the tag titles so that was probably a WWE move to put that in there.
