The funny thing is the numbers are lower but the demo is always on point. This is confusing 😂.

Next week, Kenny Omega comes out in a big orange hoodie and cuts an unintelligible promo.

The demos essentially returned to normal this week. Last week had a .38 in over 50, this week was a .25. That alone will make the difference in total viewership from last week to this week. The female demos looked to have bounced back a bit. The 18-49 number is essentially unchanged from last week (.33 to a .32). You'd ideally like to see some growth there but they've built a very stable audience. Curious how things go now with reset feuds and less competition.

Last week was probably an unusually high number for the Over 50 audience because of Shaq, too. This week it's more the usual thing.

Love you doing the ratings year over year. Thank you. Think it’s important to note that last year’s show is ostensibly when covid began in America. News dominated that night, which was a low rating for AEW then. Next week did giant numbers. It won’t look great then either. Once we get to the late april/may numbers, AEW will look gangbusters.

The pattern shows they've developed a 750K/.32 base most weeks. Now is there chance to grow it.

I feel like NXT only getting 690,000 with those title matches this week is even more interesting, but both they and AEW was against stiff competition. South Park is a huge draw when tey air and this was a special.
Next week is their really big show, so that's gonna be more interesting to monitor, as this week was definitely more setup and build.

I dont like the viewers trend. People have been home for a year. All the buzz AEW is getting. Usually 2.5-3x the pages NXT Gets on here during the broadcasts, Shaq giving them "Mainstream" Publicity. For some reason they have their loyal audience ( Approx 700-725 ) & they do not stray that much. AEW Has not gotten itself into people minds as a Must View. I also stated last night I think the numbers this summer overall in TV are going to be horrible. More & More People will be out as the Vacc spreads. More & More opening are happening. With the checks some people will have Small getaway funds. I see 600 being a summer number for AEW & NXT going under 500. AEW Is doing everything so why is it not sticking? Some will see The Demo is good, the numbers are good. I am sorry but this was a horrible number coming off a PPV that good or bad had people talking. This is NOT a bash AEW Post. This is a Why are people not tuning in more post LOL.

NXT is a dead brand. They were not equipped to go weekly 2 hours and really hurt themselves. It sucks. NXT: Brooklyn with Gargano/Cole was the best wrestling show I have been to by a country mile. Been to over 40 in my life, multiple Manias, pay per views, etc. I wish it didn’t lose its luster.

Imagine if Vince actually allowed it to be promoted during Raw? Imagine if Vince didnt sabotage most NXT Stars upon coming to Raw. How is Keith Lee not a Superstar? I am not an NXT Loyalist but do watch it at times. I saw Keith Lee & Dominik Dijakovic & said THAT should be a Wrestlemania Main Event! Instead Vince has &^%$#^%$#^%# on both of them!

If they moved to Tuesday, they’d jump in the demo and likely be putting up 800,000+ in viewership. If they stopped uploading to the Network 24 hours after airing, they’d like see another jump as well.

For the sake of comparisons, Dynamite did a better number than the post-PPV show for Full Gear and Double or Nothing last year. And All Out's show went unopposed. I would have liked a bigger number. It's not good by any means. But I don't think it's terrible. NXT also being down despite them doing everything they could to pop a number tells me that part of it was what else was on. Like I've said, next week is a really interesting card and it doesn't seem like they'll have much competition like they did this week in South Park or in the world of wrestling (NXT's show next week seems much weaker than the one this week). So there's a lot to learn in the next month.

It may get top 10 demo on Tuesdays when it moves, but yeah, there is zero promotion from WWE at this point. Them having to make their own women's tag titles is a death nail. The brands going back to being the redheaded stepson of WWE's brands, where Vince only cares about callups. It had a job, and once it didn't succeed at that job (Ruining AEW's numbers) Vince stopped caring, and it showed.

So does that mean the WWE Womens Tag belts are no longer a 3 Brand belt. So as you are saying Vince in effect has now said NXT is a minor league SMH. Sorry Vince time has passed you by. NXT was a legit 3rd brand. You had 3 IN HOUSE BRANDS! AEW is hooking up with TNA & New Japan (NWA to an extent ) to get where you were IN HOUSE! HHH took a "Minor League" Built it up to being on or nearly on par as the main 2 & had his knees cut off.

Vince never treated NXT talent with respect and it didn’t matter before.
