Something that occurred to me while watching last night.... When AEW goes back on the road will they keep their current hard cam set up? I know it’s a by-product of the unique set up of Daily’s but over the last year it was added a unique look that sets it apart from how TV wrestling is usually presented.
So do you think they’ll configure their arena set ups to keep it or go back to the “traditional” side hard cam.
Personally? I’d like to see it stay with the Daily Hard Cam look as the default setting while adjusting as needed when venues just don’t have the configuration to accommodate it.

Stages are expensive, they should show them off. You're gonna get the crowd whenever you switch to any other shot, so it's cool.

It could be just me, but I think they should go back to traditional production. Hell, I might even consider a slightly updated stage to make things feel fresher. I don't want to be reminded of these times. I could see a world in which they transition back to it in phases because the view of fans closer together, etc. might be jarring for some, but I want them to go back to the way things were...

Traditional. Want to see that crowd as much as possible.

When crowds fully come back, just go back to the traditional way. I love watching real-time reactions from the crowd and it makes the show feel bigger. As cool as it looks currently, it’s only because they don’t want to show a ton of empty seats.

Definitely traditional for when 100% crowds are back as the excitement of the fans create more excitement for the viewer. Also it would be a welcome change from Dailys Place (obviously they can't do much about that just now).

I don't mind either way, but this thread made me realise how much I'm gonna miss Daily's Place when they're back on the road. I've been watching for so long and seen so much of it, from the arena to the parking lot to the bar, to the conference rooms to the freaking kitchen I feel like I've actually been there.

Whether it's Dark or Dark Elevation or whatever, I hope they keep doing developmental shows there.

Traditional because you know right before the pandemic they had those sick bracelets that synched with the entrances?I wanna see that again

When AEW was on the road they would always tinker with their entrance setups depending on how the arena looked and it made the show feel different every single week
I feel they'll go back to that

I prefer the current setup but I think they'll drop it.

I'd like to vote other: NJPW style. Having the cameras super close to the action (practically in-ring) and using a few hard cams (ie traditional, side angles shots) sparingly is my personal favorite presentation method.
