I think it's dumb, mainly because the entire point was that it was wrong and they all got in trouble for even trying it
I can't think of one person who saw that episode and thought "Hmm, Panty Raids sure seem fun!", the entire point was it backfired. If it would have been played straight I could understand, but it really wasn't.
I also hope this doesn't lead to a domino effect because frankly this isn't even the dirtiest joke in SpongeBob and by far is not the dirtiest/darkest joke Nickelodoen still has in rotation or on their streaming service.

Makes you wonder how a thing like that made it into a kids show in the first place. Not like Spongebob is exactly a vintage cartoon or anything. Yeah, upon re-watch, this bit seemed weirdly adult, particularly in Spongebob and Patrick even knowing what a panty raid is AND that they were supposedly gonna do it before Mr. Krabs joined in.

Doing stuff like this just causes the "streisand effect". Which just means, you want someone not to see something, which drives more people to see it.
Gone With The Wind sold it's most copies in decades after a group demanded it get removed from a streaming service.
This basic premise has happened a ton in the last 2-3 years. Cancel culture is more about ego at times, than actually changing anything
If you want something to go away, you're better off just ignoring it
