I popped for the Primal Rage and Killer Instinct 2 machines. Also I was surprised that they used those instead of a Capcom machine.

I also appreciate them learning from Revolution. Under-promise and over-deliver. They said there would be arcades and that was true but they also came in with some fun surprises that blew away expectations.

They didn't oversell Rosa/Baker, it ruled, they didn't oversell Arcade Anarchy, it ruled. Every time we think the shows gonna be filler or just a sort of build show, it kills and delivers some huge moments and matches like tonight. I would not be surprised if next week ends with another underpromised/overdelivered moment, especially if Kenny/Good Brothers vs Mox/Young Bucks ends the show.

The only thing I disliked from this was the art on the whack-a-mole machine. Everything else was great.

there needs to be a full wave of AEW figures related to this match, each figure comes with a build a Sue piece. also we need a Mini Van for her as well.
is it wrong Sue is my favourite thing in wrestling right now?

The last time to the Galloping Ghost Arcade in Illinois, Id was able to play the the canceled Primal Rage 2 machine. If I remember right, Primal Rage is actually owned by Warner Bros now.

I'm not sure which Mortal Kombat-related thing I liked more, the Fatality attempt (which was clearly a direct reference with it being a Mortal Kombat one being used for it) or that moment when Miro was killing everyone while Goro happened to be in the background.

It would make sense why they'd have that and Mortal Kombat, though Killer Instinct is a surprise, since that's Microsoft. Wonder if they asked first, since obviously, WB wouldn't be an issue given the network. I can't really picture Microsoft minding, though, given they probably welcome any attention on their IPs as it is.

It also kinda makes sense why this feud didn't end after Revolution. I imagine Statlander and Trent both got medically cleared around this date and not Revolution, and they needed a definitive end to it with great closure and the heels reaping what they sow.
If it had ended at Revolution it would have been whatever, it ending with that Arcade Anarchy match was a perfectly wrapped bow where The Best Friends reunited, Statlander returned, and Miro and Kip lost, and subsequently you would assume, Miro is going to destroy Kip very soon.

I just figured it wouldn't end then because, you start a feud with an arcade cabinet getting wrecked. It'd be weird not to bring it back around to that.

Plain old dumb fun. The returns were great, too.
On the flip side...Kip took the pin. Kip gonna die.

Yeah, he's going to get blamed, despite Miro having had multiple opportunities to end things that he passed up so he could wreak more havoc. It did seem that they were really selling on commentary that Miro could wreck basically anyone on the roster, so it does seem like they're ready to let him loose sometime. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he'll eventually be the one to beat Darby, or potentially building him to the world title, though it's hard to picture where that'd fit in anytime soon, even if Miro destroying Omega is something Kenny would no doubt sell like death.

They did mildly tease Miro vs. Kenny right after Winter is Coming with Miro suggesting he wants to lay a whooping on Kenny’s ass, but that might not be followed up on at all.

Yeah, plus it might just be part of his whole general thing of, "Stop wasting my time, give me shots at times!" he has going on.

Weird connection between this and the Parking Lot Fight is that both involved an ally making a surprise save to help turn the tide for Best Friends (Orange in the PLF; Statlander and Trent (w/ Sue) in Arcade Anarchy).

OTP IS BACK I can hear the E.T. theme in my head. That's weird. I hear the theme to Red Dwarf.
