He was really good In Chernobyl too. Friday Night Dinner us one of my favourite Sitcoms of recent years and he was the best thing in it. SHIT ON IT! RIP

Oh definitely but seeing a man who in his most famous role walks around topless, eats out of bins and looks at his willy with a magnifying glass playing this soulless and unlikeable almost robotic figure, it tends to stand out.

I only started watching FND last year, and he never failed to make me laugh like a loon at least once an episode. An unsung comedy hero and a sad loss. Sleep well, sir, and thank you for the laughter.
