Kurt Angle's pod is pretty good and those shitting on it should actually listen. It may seem like oversaturation right now, but the reality is that his Tony/Bruce podcasts are probably winding down soon and he's setting himself up for the future. Dude's a good businessman/marketer, like him or not.

Thinking it's not the content but Conrad himself people are being tough on for good reason. Not sure that’s true. It’s definitely the amount of content he’s churning out being talked about in this thread, except for your post vaguely referencing outside problems with Conrad. It's 100% Conrad for me, not the amount of content. I don't know of anything outside of the pods regarding him. It's solely because I'm sick of listening to him. If any of these guys had a podcast without him, I'd definitely check them out.

I don't mind Conrad, but there's only so much BS from his stars I can take. Prichard and Bischoff are never going to admit fault, Bruce is never going to say Vince was wrong and will defend the indefensible to the bitter end, and I've no reason to expect better from Jarrett.

Don’t listen to much of Bischoff and while Prichard will fight back on and defend some ideas/storylines/decisions, there are plenty of times in the podcast where he says some of the decisions they made were shit.

Katie Vick is probably the biggest example. Prichard flat out said Vince was the only one who wanted to do it. HHH, Kevin Dunn, and Prichard himself all hated it even while it was being shot.

Count me in as a person who would probably listen to some of these if they weren't apart of the "Conrad Thompson podcast network" his personality irritates me and he gets in the way.

You said it was the amount of content originally? My issues with him are mostly pod related: homophobic jokes, the remixes, soft balling with certain hosts, constant humble bragging, insistence that his friend Dave is almost always right, his short fuse when hosts that can't beat him up have a differing opinion than him... I could go on but for sake of brevity I won't. As for his outside the pods behavior... It's not really relevant for this forum.

I want Von Erich stories. I want steve Austin USWA stories. Well you know.... Seriously though I'll give it a listen as I don't mind some of Conrad's podcasts like with JR and more recently Kurt Angle.

His podcasts are reaching unlistenable status. Ads are literally every 5 minutes and the best one, STW, started to suck a long, long time ago. JR is a rambling old man. Angle is good but the ads make it impossible to listen to.
My drive to work is about 30 minutes, in traffic, like 12 without. I shouldn’t hear anywhere from 3-6 ads in that space of time.
And I absolutely refuse to pay him to make them go away. I just check out. You’re not driving sales, you’re driving me away.

What is the origin of the "well you know quote" I always thought it was Jerry Jarrett because Bruce did a skit with making chicken salad. But every other time I heard it with Meltzer. So is it both guys or did Bruce just add the quote to his Jerry Jarrett skit this one time? Edit: Also every time I heard "well you know" it is done with the accent, so does Dave have that accent?

Sure there's plenty to BS but he's got a charm to him, like Nash that you kinda don't mind it Bruce's show kinda stinks since he started back with WWE due to fear of pissing people off and morseso, him sounding exhausted and disinterested

I'd take Conrad forever over someone like say, Brain Last. Conrad genuinely seems to be a big fan and enjoy what he's doing. That helps me enjoy it. He better be a fan or else listening to his father-in-law tell work stories would get old real quick.

It's been a while since I stopped listening but I think it's all Jerry Jarret but he just started using that phrase as like a non sequitur even if it had nothing to do with Jerry. Kinda just became a catch phrase.

I listen at home so I fast forward through most ads but it gets hella annoying. I appreciated the Geico sponsored ones because the ads were quick and at least on something to wrestle they were funny. You can't even voice displeasure about it as he used to just mute ppl for it but at the beginning of the year he started blocking anyone who says anything negative towards his podcasts.
