I's time to unify the damn titles and allow women to cross the brands like they do with the WTTC.

Top of the head thought: turn NXT into an all-women show.
Just really seems like they have no intention of doing anything (or at least more than, well, very little) with the women on the main roster shows, so screw it, why not, get them all on one show and have a women's World, Tag, and midcard belt.

Make that 20, and that's counting Becky, Lacey, Reckoning, and Sasha despite them all being inactive. That's like a kindergarten class.

Always thought that what they should had done instead of 205. Have their own shimmer/stardom show but still have the women be part of RAW/SD/NXT/PPV as well.

I have been against this because of the whole why segregate the women from the main shows but with releases yea they may as well just go ahead and give the women their own show because the main roster women are lost at sea with no booie and the cruise liner is sinking.

At this point on the all-women show thing... I dunno. I've never liked the idea of segmenting them all off into their own show, because it treats them like an afterthought third string novelty, but at least it'd be some kind of spotlight which is certainly better than the barren hellscape the women's division is right now.

I know Bruce Pritchard is a meme when it comes to women's booking and presentation but it's gotten to the point of ridculousness. I know it ain't all his fault either but for a company that praised and pushed for WOMENS REVOLUTION and EVOLUTION the divisions have fallen flat on their face and it's their own doing. It's not like they don't have the talent and couldn't have the depth, they just don't care!
Reginald is one of the most pushed talents of the entire women's division. REGINALD. And there is absolutely no indication WWE has any intention of calling up any NXT talent to fill the gaping holes. Hell they called Garrett up just to fire her!

The sad thing is, you can't even fix this by calling up a bunch of girls from NXT because most of them are just going to be wasted. I mean in the last 2 years we've had 8 callups from NXT: Kairi Sane, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler, Mia Yim, Chelsea Green and Rhea Ripley(9 if you want to count those 2 weeks that Mercedes Martinez was there). They call them up and then a majority of them end up getting wasted. I fear that in due time the NXT Women's division will end up suffering the same fate as the NXT Tag Team division, where the main roster kept on raiding NXT of talent until NXT gets left with the tatters of what was once a thriving and great division.

The problem with this is that it will likely just compound complaints about women perceived as overpushed when they become the ones to get focused on across two shows rather than just one.
That said, I do think they may as well unite the NXT and main-roster women's tag titles because the main roster one isn't sustainable now. The SD division in particular also seriously needs call-ups and soon. While I get the stories themselves aren't popular, Raw's at least been using its women's roster pretty solidly since Mania (and has even set up multiple feuds in Rhea/Charlotte [+ Nikki and Asuka at points] and Alexa/Shayna), even if the weeks beforehand were bad.

Well, here's an update on the state of the the main roster women's division right now:
Raw: -Nikki A.S.H. -Charlotte Flair -Rhea Ripley -Alexa Bliss -Eva Marie -Doudrop -Asuka -Dana Brooke -Shayna Baszler -Nia Jax
Smackdown: -Bianca Belair -Sasha Banks -Naomi -Carmella -Liv Morgan -Zelina Vega -Tegan Nox -Shotzi -Natalya -Tamina -Toni Storm
Unknown: -Becky Lynch -Mia Yim -Aliyah -Xia Li?
Inactive: -Bayley -Lacey Evans
Also, WWE just recently trademarked “SunRay”, so that could be another female(a new member of Eva’s Eva-Lution group, perhaps?)
For the most part, they've basically replenished their roster to where it was in the beginning of the year.

Never saw this response back in June, but for me it might just be that I've watched too much puro over the last few years, but having separate mens and womens shows seems to at least work out to allowing more people to have a spotlight, overall, instead of having only a small handful of usually the women having to fight for some kind of air time. It wouldn't be to say that the women should never appear on the other shows, mind; even in Japan, where it's common to have unisex promotions, it's not as if there's no such thing as shows where they mix things up or have mixed gender tag matches or whatever else like that. It's just that right now, much in the same way you'd be forgiven for thinking WWE only has a few dozen men under contract given how few people they showcase on the main roster, it's even worse for the women.

Yea, I never would have spread the women across two brands; I'd have the women being exclusive to one brand like they were during the original brand split. The other brand would have their own exclusive thing. Back in the day, it was the cruiserweights, but a cruiserweight division in 2021 makes no sense since most of the guys on the roster are cruiserweights now. But definitely one women's division, one championship, one brand. More match combinations, more fresh matches, more feuds, etc.

At the same time, women's wrestling is too important to the company now to be limited to one brand like it was back then. Thankfully it's not 2002 anymore.

You give the other brand its own gimmick. Easier said than done, yes, but they do have people on the payroll whose job it is to come up with ideas.

Maybe make the tag division exclusive to just one of the brands. All the tag teams are on one brand, the women would be on the other one. It could differentiate the brands. And really put effort into it. I know, I know, they won't. But I'm just theorizing. Ideally, a tag team division would be a big draw. I know that Vince doesn't get tag teams, and dislikes paying for two wrestlers to get one act when he can just pay one singles wrestler, but I will forever die on the hill of believing that an old school tag division could be a money maker in modern wrestling.

They have added more women to each roster
The issue of any of them outside of like three mattering at any given time is still there though.

It wouldn't matter if they had 2022, I bet there'd still be the same number of rematches.

It wouldn't matter if they had 2022, I bet there'd still be the same number of rematches. This is honestly the bigger issue with the shows in general, the women are just a symptom. Booking TV like house show matches means most of the roster don't get used, and people can skip like 2 months of watching the shows and miss virtually no meaningful story updates much of the time. It's a problem with an easy solution, but the solution is "stop booking your show day-of constantly." Unless someone died or missed their flight, most of your show should be set in stone at least a few days before it airs, with some matches announced ahead of time, matches you will deliver on. There are no excuses.
