I'm glad she'll be back on a bigger stage again.

She was filming her episode of A&E’s newest WWE series, “WWE Fired Me Over Some Bullshit”. It’s a 350 episode series.

At the end of the day all that matters is if she is happy,if she has decided to return then good for her and Alistair too.

Seriously, though... How does this even happen after the circumstances in which she got let go? They haven’t budged on the Twitch thing as far as I know, so did they just give her a blank cheque to come back? Were no other companies actually interested in her somehow? Money is money. Husband still there. If she’s back on a contract I assume she said f*** it and decided to get paid and not fight a losing battle that wrestlers don’t look to have her back on

I'm not going to jump to any conclusions until the purpose of the filming is released, but this is one of the stranger stories to happen this year. I get that money is money, and can bend, if not break, your morals and beliefs, but I hope she sticks by hers. I’d say the fact she’s even entertaining an offer to start with, if not outright taken it, tells me that her morals and beliefs on this specific matter aren’t THAT concrete. Morals and beliefs are cool but they don't pay your household bills, and given the industry en masse did a vast "oh shit, I think I left the lights on at home" after her original move...

Yeah I’m not going stand on my high horse if she decides to go back or work with them in any capacity. She lost her job for what she stood for. I’d say she had strong morals and convictions

People are going to stand so high and mighty on their soapboxes because of this. Make that bank, Zelina.
Plus she entertains the heck out of me, so I’m happy. Win win. 😂

Ok but how fire of a talent are you that you basically got fired for openly throwing up a middle finger to a new company policy and within...what, barely six months? They already making plans to bring you back in.
What an odd, odd business, haha.

Meltzer confirmed the story to be accurate. Not that it wouldn't because SRS does his homework but double sources is good to know.

No surprise her OnlyFans would dry up financially I mean she was never gonna push any further than cosplay so she had already hit her ceiling immediately on that platform.

For the people thinking she would have went to AEW, you do realize that both Tony Khan and Cody Rhodes are actively against unions, right? Tony has been vocal in the past about the players association for the NFL, to the point of where the NFLPA actively warns players from signing with the Jags due to their anti-union practices. Also she is likely coming back because the income from her Twitch stream and OnlyFans ended up plummeting after she was released. I think people thought she'd sign with AEW because they would let her do her Twitch and possibly OF while being able to make a living wrestling vs. going back to the abusive employer without anything changing. AEW may be anti-union but at least they generally treat their talent like actual human beings, which makes the need for a union much less necessary.
That said, we don't know if there was even any interest between the two sides.

Ehhh, idc how nice people treat me, I want shit in black and white. Wrestling def needs a union but that can only happen when they all band together
I'm sort of surprised her options didn't open up but I would assume if she is going back to the Fed if only because they gave her a nice bump on the check and her husband still being there

I say this as a huge fan of Zelina but I don’t think she ever truly cared about a union. I think she was just mad they didn’t want her using Twitch and put out that tweet to get attention after being fired. If she was allowed to keep streaming I don’t think she’d have made a peep about a union.
I follow her Twitch channel. After the dust settled and the controversy over her exit died down the number of viewers she was getting for her streams plummeted and she eventually stopped doing them at all. When you’re not on TV in front of 2 million people every week your relevancy/popularity will fade away unless you’re a big time legend so I don’t think it was possible for her to make a full-time living just off of Twitch.

Wrestling def needs a union but that can only happen when they all band together If talk of unions are used by opportunists then the term just stays as some unattainable dream subject that gets discussed about as often as rebooking the invasion. Like nothing against her or Black personally for wanting to stay secure and paid but EEECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH to the preamble to all this now in hindsight. I find it v gross.

I wouldn't say they used it to advance themselves tho. Black wasn't seen for months and Zelina got fired. I just see it as them playing with the hand they are dealt You just don't have enough wrestlers to seriously support a union talk unless it comes from the top. Ventura said he pitched a union idea and basically wanted the boys to hold Vince hostage before WM2. He gave a speech and thought everything was good until Vince called him ripping him a new ass. Hogan snitched on him to Vince about the talks

They can’t do it by themselves, and certainly not if they’re not in the company. They’d most likely need a majority of the wrestlers in the company to certify interest in unionization for there to even be the potential of a WWE-based union. The other hurdle besides getting the majority of talent on board would be to prove that they are not independent contractors. It’s not an easy task.
