Somehow a finisher that is just slam the guys face into the mat a bunch of times fits Hot Rod perfectly. I'm guessing because of Brutus, he couldn't use the sleeper.

There's a good website CrazyTights (I may well have found it through here) with a lot of his gear, plus some others like Bret, Angle and RVD. I love this site, dude's starting on a great archive for this kind of thing. He's just added Bam Bam Bigelow.

How about that SummerSlam weekend a few years back where like 6 people wore white and gold and then never used those outfits again?

Piper used the sleeper quite a bit going back to his Mid-Atlantic days, but it was never really his FINISHER until he won the IC title. His primary finish in Mid-Atlantic was the swinging neckbreaker. 1984-87 Piper almost never worked TV squashes in the WWF so he never really established a finish (besides clobbering someone with a foreign object)--I know I had merchandise from the expansion era that listed his signature move as "Whatever comes to mind." When he came back in '89 he won matches in all sorts of ways--Piper's squashes always told little stories, usually involving the job guy disrespecting him in some way, and Piper annihilating them.

Jose was like a parent or grandparent going on a field trip with a teenage kid. You obviously didn't want him there but you didn't want to hurt their feelings. I'm pretty surprised Jose didn't get the hint at the end of Wrestlemania 12 but it's not like Shawn was courageous enough to tell him he didn't want him there. I feel bad for Jose having to be associated with 1990s Shawn, he deserved better.

Team Canada Duggan is hilarious but he just looks so upsetting clean shaven. I hate it.

Mankind with a red shirt during the Undertaker vs Kane #1 contender's match on the 6/1/98 episode of RAW. Another one of Stone Cold during his match with Undertaker in 1996. That one match where Austin sported a logo on his trunks.

Hulk Hogan's Warbonnet from late 80s This? ![](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1b5c33fg6Tk/Twr5MXPQe_I/AAAAAAAABzY/Fk1fAWJ-VM8/s1600/helmet3.jpg) There's also that weird green face mask I found on Google just now: ![](https://external-preview.redd.it/tOwPmOO3Qzq90fczmVPbYKTD-iTDqCCqjy0YWyZEYZo.png?auto=webp&s=17388384b85b564a579e7c9ab311cfd0066d20ce) After WrestleMania, him and Slaughter were having Desert Storm matches, following the fireball Sarge threw at Hogan in the locker room.

I remember some action figure for him had what appeared to be the ending of a kneeling pile driver on it. But I never remember seeing him do that. As far as the squashes, I remember him finishing one with a small package for some reason. Random finisher seems to fit the guy who once said “Just when they think they have the answers, I change the questions.”

Can anyone find a pic of Roddy Piper shortly after he returned to WWE after filming They Live, where he wore red trunks with red knee and elbow pads? It was always strange to me that such an odd, short-lived attire was immortalized on his only Hasbro figure. ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210604/d86ada5e775b6e8eafda58c4ddb049bf.jpg) I found the match! Piper also wore red at this WWF MSG show on 21 May, 1984, don't know how common it was for him in that era: ![](https://i.ibb.co/0ZcGG9s/roddy-piper-msg-21-05-1984-b.png) This was also when he was wearing his panther t-shirt: ![](https://i.ibb.co/PMK50sD/roddy-piper-msg-21-05-1984.png)

If those its one of the most famous attires of his. IMO one of his best ever. He only did wear it ONCE. That is Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 12 attire. His mom I believe held on to the attire after he won. ![](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/69/6d/a5/696da56b6a16695309beee3d3d9f0af0.jpg) Even Jose doesn't understand why he is there.
