I did not expect this. I'm really hoping they don't pull a Christian on her and have her lose it on the next Smackdown and then spend months losing some more. It was definitely unexpected, I'm hoping she gets a chance to show what she can do.

Early stats... *Morgan is WWE's 54th main roster women's singles champion, the previous first-time champion being Nikki A.S.H. just under a year ago *Morgan becomes the fifth person and the third woman to win the MITB briefcase and cash it in successfully on the same night *By virtue of making it to Sunday, by default Morgan will not have the shortest reign with the SmackDown Women's Championship. The shortest reign belongs to Charlotte Flair, who was champion for all of maybe four minutes after beating Becky Lynch at Money In The Bank 2019 to win it, before being cashed in on by Bayley to lose it. Hell, just by making it to the next SmackDown she will pass another Flair reign on that list, a four day reign later in 2019. If she makes it to the next PPV (SummerSlam in four weeks), she'll pass three more reigns to reach 28 days, two of them belonging to Flair (the other being Naomi in 2017). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WWE_SmackDown_Women%27s_Champions

How I see Liv @ SmackDown~! After vs. Bianca Belair
Over a year later, this is now accurate, crazy.

Saw some chatter on Twitter that Rousey advocated for Liv to beat her. IF that's true, my respect for her goes up.

Dave Meltzer said that the current plan is to do Ronda vs. Liv at Summerslam BTW.

Dave Meltzer said that the current plan is to do Ronda vs. Liv at Summerslam BTW. With Ronda hopefully going back over as champ. I’m sorry I just don’t see Liv’s appeal and I haven’t able to get passed the crying like a little girl when she couldn’t beat Becky.

I'm glad she got that moment but I'm just tired of the cash-ins and wish they would just have these faces actually beat the champ in a normal match. Put them over.

Dave Meltzer said that the current plan is to do Ronda vs. Liv at Summerslam BTW. Wow that’s big for Liv. Even if she’s dropping it back, that’s a marquee match for her that I wouldn’t have believed was in the cards.

Fair enough, but I think her wearing her emotions on her sleeve is part of what makes her so likable to people. It's easy to root for somebody like that.

would've preferred to see Liv win using her finish instead of the roll up of doom....
but I'm happy for her

If it's true that Ronda demanded to drop the title to Liv it would be very dumb to have Ronda win it right back from Liv at Summerslam. I still wouldn't be surprised if Charlotte returns & we get a triple threat

I'm glad she won but I feel like it will be short-lived like Nikki A.S.H last year.
