Dave Meltzer said that the current plan is to do Ronda vs. Liv at Summerslam BTW. I’d be down for it if only because I’d like Ronda to work as a heel. Based on some of her heel quirks last night (doing the Michaels pose with Nattie in the Sharpshooter) I think she’d knock it out the park.

I'm glad she won but I feel like it will be short-lived like Nikki A.S.H last year. I've learnt my lesson. I'm gonna be positive like mj0mn0m . She'll have a two year reign.

Nikki lost the title at Summerslam so it would be about the same length. I could see them maybe saving Charlotte's return for that where she runs in and causes a DQ or something right before Ronda is about to win because she thinks it will be easier to beat Liv for the belt then Ronda. I can see them basically rehashing the Charlotte, Nikki, and Rhea deal from last year. Basically Ronda as Rhea, Liv as Nikki, and Charlotte as Charlotte.

Haven’t seen this mentioned unless I missed it but Liv basically gave away the result of the MITB match by crying during her entrance.

Liv ain't losing that belt for a while. She'll keep putting on awesome matches against the likes of Ronda and after getting a few big wins, she'll look like a true megastar. \o/

She’s always looked scared/crying/happy for every big match she’s been in, including when she lost to Becky for the title awhile back. Liv just exudes “happy to be here” energy.

I teared up seeing Liv holding the briefcase, was expecting someone like Raquel to win.
Then I was working on my computer and turned for a minute, forgetting that I still had the event playing. Liv holding the belt. How? Showed replay.
I'm happy with it. 🙂

Liv Morgan's character having the bravery to go out and chose "the" Ronda Rousey who barely lost in her entire WWE run was a kinda overlooked and underrated detail last night. Ronda being exhausted or not, it's still Ronda . Liv ran down that ramp and said f*** it lol. Iconic tbh

Congrats to Liv she gets her moment and does deserve it and it took me by complete surprise they let her go over Ronda between the two champions she could have went after.
But that is where the patty cake congrats ends because IMO that was the easy part now the litney of question marks pop up of what are they gonna do...let her have a decent run with the title? or is she simply set up to get steamrolled over so they can get the title back onto one of the women they consider a real stars just setting eveything back to square f***ing one.

I haven't seen anyone mention this anywhere: Liv was totally on point for the MITB match.
The other women were missing or botching things everywhere. - Raquel failed at lifting the ladder with two women laying on it because she didn't get in the center before lifting and couldn't get one side up - Shotzi tried to run up a bridged ladder and fell through it - Shotzi had Raquel hung upside down from the ladder and in perfect position for kicks. So she weakly chopped her. Then she awkwardly climbed over her and tried a sort of double stomp move that hit nothing. Then she fell down. - Shotzi got Bliss on her shoulders and awkwardly fell over backwards - Becky jumped too far on her legdrop off a ladder onto Asuka and almost completely missed over the top, much to the shock of anyone who has ever seen Becky jump off of anything
In contrast, Liv - walked up the bridged ladder that Shotzi just fell through to deliver a jumping knee - hit a beautiful Sunset Flip powerbomb from the ladder on Lacey Evans - successfully bounced off the rope when her ladder was tipping over to stand it up again and kick Becky down
That last one was especially important, since it was the climax and the finish of the match. If Liv misses that move, we probably get a lame ending like last year's when everybody fights on the ladder tops at the same time until one person simply grabs the case. The bounce and return made for a memorable ending.

The bounce and return made for a memorable ending. It's weird because even though she won they gave her the least to do in the match as she was MIA it felt like a good chunk of it but looking back the match probably would've been better if they gave her more spots as like you said the ones they did give her she executed pretty much perfectly. And the spots they did give her were either pretty dangerous or very important. The powerbomb on Lacey where there was little room for error but they pulled it off very clean and without injury. And then of course the finish which was obviously the most important part of the match. There was a lot that could've easily went wrong with that spot but she pulled it off without a hitch and it resulted in a very good finish to the match. Even the walk up the bridge spot while it wasn't executed super smoothly due to her being tentative but it showed smarts on her part being tentative as after seeing Shotzi fall though she realized it was better to be cautious about it and at least be able to execute it. Then on the flip side you have Shotzi who it seems like they gave the most to in that she was always in there and I think like literally screwed up every spot she was involved in.

It's been happening to every winner the past few years. The men's match was the same. You knew Theory was winning when he was the only person not involved in putting Omos through the table.
