It's weird because even though she won they gave her the least to do in the match as she was MIA it felt like a good chunk of it That isn't a new thing. It's been happening to every winner the past few years. The men's match was the same. You knew Theory was winning when he was the only person not involved in putting Omos through the table. It's because of that as the match was going on I figured she had a good chance of winning. I wonder why they always do it though? Lower the risk of injury and them having to change plans perhaps? Only thing is while it works for opportunistic heels I feel it kind of takes away from faces when they win.

I'll be tuning into every show just to see some bits of her with the title.
This week is filled with joy, thanks to she being the champ! 😎

What a day to be alive, what a performance from Liv!
I'm still f***ing speechless.
+ Money in the Bank ✨ + WWE Championship ✨
Now please, WWE, give her a a fair shot at being THE champion... 🙏 genuinely super happy for you & I hope she keeps the title for a while

I want to preface this by apologising for what I’m about to post and putting the evil on the reign, but did anything see similarities in Liv getting handed the belt and warrior having the same thing at WM6. I mean was the prospect of Liv being champ better then in reality ? Again I’m sorry as I think Liv Morgan is great and deserves all the titles and good things in life, but I’m worried the title reign will fall flat.

Again I’m sorry as I think Liv Morgan is great and deserves all the titles and good things in life, but I’m worried the title reign will fall flat. It did remind me a lot of that. It was actually almost a complete reiteration of it exactly with Ronda being real classy about it like Hogan was. Difference was Warrior was being set up as the absolute #1 guy and face of the company. When it comes to the women I don't see that being the case with Liv. I hope she gets a good reign but given the situation on Smackdown and who is there I just don't see. A lot of it is due to the elephant the room known as Charlotte Flair. Whenever she is around WWE refuses to ever have her not be the center of attention so even if Liv manages to get past Summerslam as champion if the reports are true about her fighting Ronda at that show I don't see her reign making it past September. Also you have to factor in the fact that SD isn't filled with credible heels that could oppose Liv (similar to the problem Warrior had in 1990 since Hogan had run already ran through all the heels that were there). They could easily have a group of credible heels that you could have challenge Liv and have her beat. Sonya, Shayna, turn Lacey or Raquel heel. However the first two would require them start actually booking them well which for some reason they refuse to do and the latter two they seem contempt with as faces. They could easily give Liv a good six month reign if they wanted but because of the Charlotte problem I don't see it.

Let me take you all back to the moment I realized Liv Morgan rules: Wasn’t that part of the “Dear God, get Brie Bella out of ring!!” period?

This is one of the hard things with the women's division, there's usually only a few with any momentum at any time. Becky Lynch ran into the same thing during her initial man run. After beating Charlotte and Ronda she had no one left to face with any momentum. She ended up feuding with a green Lacey Evans for 5 months and then had a match with Natalya where her opponent was decided a week or two before the show. It was incredibly underwhelming. There were other issues with the reign but that certainly contributed.

There were other issues with the reign but that certainly contributed. It's even a bigger problem with Bianca on Raw right now. Only credible heels on Raw are Rhea who is injured and Becky whose current narrative eliminates her from being a title contender at the moment. As a result they are having to push Carmella as a contender even though Bianca has beat her like 18 billion times.

They don't want situations like Balor winning the Universal title and having to immediately vacate it.

To add to all of the good fortune, Morgan is now on a career-best televised winning streak, reaching five straight wins for the first time, all of which were accumulated in the space of eight days.

She looked such a ⭐ tonight tagging with Bianca Belair.
I can't wait to see what they announce at SmackDown. Rematch vs. Ronda would be a spectacle.
