If the past year or so has taught us anything, the WWE will book people for shows knowing full well they are not available, not under contract or due to be fired. Card subject to change! What are live crowds going to do, sue?
They'll probably just subssitute him for another indie guy if he doesn't re-sign and not mention it on commentary.

I never really thought that all these releases probably frustrate the coaches that work with the talent, too. I'm sure folks are angry. I wonder if others will follow suit. Especially since by all account, the PC was a chaotic atmosphere with nobody really having a structure of what they want which then just leads to the main roster being annoyed that they weren’t taught properly even though they could have set the guidelines a long time ago. I'm sure the Performance Center unexpectedly becoming a television studio in 2020, forcing them to use a back up facility that they still don't have back full time isn't helping matters.

I'd love to hear Regal do a series of interviews on his NXT experiences some day. If the current corporate culture existed back in his day he'd have been released and probably would have ended up dead so his perspective would be interesting.

They released him during the peak of his addiction issues, Eddie and Dustin too. Helping talent through addiction rather than pretending it's not an issue or firing them is a relatively recent thing because of the deaths. WWE corporate culture is the same as it ever was only now they do the bare minimum for struggling talent because people pay attention when talent die, and even then it's not a guarantee they'll do the right thing. Just ask Chris 'Went to rehab for his issues, was depushed and mocked by company management on live TV' Masters, Keith 'Medical bills' Lee or Nia 'Fired while taking a mental health break the company agreed to' Jax.

Yep the importance of corporate PR is the reason for their rehab policies now not them caring one bit about anyones welfare.

Update on Gargano from fightful.
The fact he signed a short extension and not a new deal is pretty telling about him being out the door.
it is 5 days before AEW's winter is coming also.

Was watching SRS's stream from the last round of releases. Basically said he does not see Hit Row working as a group anywhere else and that Swerve will be highly sought after (we heard that). Also said Top Dolla got the group a lot of heat for how he acted.
Feels the only safe people are Roman, Becky, and The New Day.
Also talked about how many talent don't even know they're supposed to have a main roster tryout till the day before.
Also flat out admitted that Jaxson Ryker was released because everybody hates him but Vince and he wasn't over

Just like Adam Cole. Working through to the end for the sake of the company and to finish out storylines, probably out of respect too to Shawn and Hunter and all, and then out.

Man I hope Candice goes with him to as she has tons to offer and no chance will WWE do much with her when she returns.

Also flat out admitted that Jaxson Ryker was released because everybody hates him but Vince and he wasn't over According to his account on twitter dot com, f***ing gunner is looking into starting a ministry. The wrestling-to-religious-grifter pipeline continues to pump straight from the septic tank of life!

At this point it's gonna be way more surprising to see talents re-up on a deal than not I feel like. The upcoming expiring deals (Owens/Zayn/Reily) are really gonna be interesting... let alone just waiting for another roster cut bomb at this rate.

Also flat out admitted that Jaxson Ryker was released because everybody hates him but Vince and he wasn't over I dont even know if New Day are safe at this point given how Woods has been talking. Maybe they're safe from being cut but I really wouldn't be shocked if Woods walked the way he's coming off in interviews down the line. Hit Row was an experiment and unfortunately it just bombed on the Main Roster for one reason or another. Swerve is gonna get signed... the issue with the rest of the group is they are green as shit and only had the act as they were together. Probably a hard sell to sign all four talents when Strickland is just money by himself. Not a shock WWE gives people no prep for callups. We all saw Von Wagner just standing next to Pearce with absolutely zero acknowledgment of why he was or why he was there... Not shocked Vince was the only dude who liked Ryker. I find it hilarious that Ryker's last WWE appearance was losing to a botched Kross Jacket though. He deserves it. Also get the f*** outta here with that "Starting a ministry" shit. Why does EVERY creepy wrestler suddenly turn to God when everyone finds out they're a creep? It's really off-putting.

SRS reported that Roderick Strong signed a multi-year extension earlier this year so he’ll only be part of an Undisputed Era reunion if released.

Don't be shocked if we get official confirmation that Kairi is 100% done with WWE soon. jSports announced they are discontinuing broadcasting WWE products over there. No idea if WWE has a new TV deal or not lined up, but it doesn't look good. Nick is gonna be sweating bullets if they don't have any sort of market share over there.
