Woods is better set-up for his post-WWE career than most just with his gaming ventures, let alone any interest from other companies, so he’d obviously feel more at peace with things were it to happen. I think that's a reason why they wouldn't want to fire him since he'd be the face of AEW Games 90 days later but even before then, he'd have G4, he'd likely be doing something with Giant Bomb the day after, maybe he'll do a couple more eSports hosting, stuff like that. But then, again, they've fired people higher up on the card for pettier reasons ("Oh no, we paid this guy too much money" or "Oh no, this person doesn't agree to our every creative decision") so who the hell knows? Idk if the UpUpDownDown stuff was resolved either... because imo that strained Woods relationship with the WWE more than anything. Even if it was resolved the fact he had to step away at all to RESOLVE it along with the staff that runs it really says a lot and might've done enough damage on its own. |

You've got Swiss, Joe, AJ (although he's probably a lifer), Seth, Corbin (and he's already seen 2 of his best friends fired in Breeze and Spears), and the BRE (that's on top of WWE firing Mia and Keith, firing Tegan, and taking away streaming). That can't be sitting well with a lot of people. |

Johnny Ace is such a well known creep today I'm amazed he has a job in 2021. Yes Vince and Dunn are infamous creeps too but they were already in the payroll, hiring surgery problematic person is shocking. The WWE don't care about optics, if the did there wouldn't have been so many mass firings during a pandemic, they wouldn't have protected Bill DeMott, they wouldn't be running shows for blood money after they held most of the roster hostage... |

I think this is an interesting statement regarding locker room morale right now. This post: ..made me think “oh yea, guy dgaf anymore”. Man, Cedric Alexander just went up to Xavier and gave him his “DGAF King” crown to go on top of the KOTR one for that. Swole wasn’t pleased at first but then she understood. And probably ravaged him anyway later on in the night. |

It's interesting that he says he asked for his release. I always assumed coaches were just at-will employees who could leave at any time like an office job.

I figure somebody like her probably is more important than ever because they need these girls to look competent, but I also would f***ing love a final Death Rey run on the indies and in AEW. |

Especially since by all account, the PC was a chaotic atmosphere with nobody really having a structure of what they want which then just leads to the main roster being annoyed that they weren’t taught properly even though they could have set the guidelines a long time ago. |

Not a straight up release but Gargano's deal expires December 3rd. The WarGames match is the 5th
He might've just signed a short extension to have that match and be done right after. Worth monitoring.
